I have been eyeing different versions of this paddle for a while, but they all get mediocre reviews, until now. I watched a video of the developer of this paddle using it, and it looked like it actually worked, fit my stand mixer, and got good reviews from actual user. I used it today to cream butter and sugar together for some blonde brownies, and I was amazed at how well it worked in terms of both the speed with which it effectively creamed my ingredients, and the way that the design allowed it to keep the ingredients from creeping up the sides of the bowl! I wish I had found this sooner. I do a lot of baking of desserts, and this is definitely gonna come in handy! I also bought the silicone spatula that was used in the video, and it also works as well as in the demonstration. I was able to clean off most of the batter that was on the paddle in no time at all. Five stars for both the paddle, the spatula, and the excellent demonstration by the developer.

Loved this. Was very nervous when buying it as I have an 8qt. KitchenAid. Everywhere else I looked i could never find one for this size. So when I saw it was overjoyed and ordered it immediately. It did the job great by scraping the sides wonderfully. Very Satisfied.

This is a game-changer. I recently started using my KA mixer more. I found I was frequently stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl. Then I saw this. It works perfectly! I have the 5qt KA lift bowl (not tilt head). This fits just fine. However, when it says not to use on an empty bowl, they mean that. It definitely needs something in the bowl to swish around otherwise the rubber scraper can crack...which mine did when I accidentally plugged in my mixer before checking to be sure the lever was in the off position. A tiny crack ensued...but it still works just as intended.

This thing was a tad pricey, but it is rock solid top quality, and works perfectly! I've had a few others in the past that were kind of disappointing. This one really, actually, totally works as advertised. I'm still surprised when I use it, how it actually gets all the stuff cleaned from the sides and bottom of the mixer bowl, and also gets the stuff that tries to crawl up the sides above the beater.

I have been using this for many months now and I highly recommend it! You will not believe how fast and easy it mixes cake, cookies, whipped cream, everything!! SO MUCH BETTER than the original blade! Make sure you get the correct size for your machine!

I inherited a larger KitchenAid mixer from my mother. I was looking for the flex edge beater because it didn’t have one. I researched tons on Amazon, but came across this one. I liked that it was metal and not a flimsy plastic. From the moment I put it on, it fit perfectly, and I never had to scrape my bowl even once. It’s a little bit more money, but definitely worth it!

I love this - very well made, works fabulously and makes my baking so much easier. I like it way better than the one that came with my mixer. It sturdy and the coating makes it easy to clean. Fits my mixer perfectly and I always had trouble finding one that worked for my 5 qt bowl mixer I bought at Sams.
