It's kind of interesting that there is a purpose-built sock diffuser for the RP18B Pro but here it is. In reality it can work with other 18" ring lights with some degree of DIY, especially to clip some attachments to the back of other ring lights... but probably not worth the hassle; the RP18B Pro is a lot thinner than most, so this is where this sock becomes more purpose-built for this model alone.That said, if it was purpose-built and the RP18B Pro does has a removable diffuser panel, I do wonder why this diffuser was made a sock rather than a stronger diffusion plastic panel. I suppose it is easier to store and not scratch-prone, though it would actually be easier to swap out the plastic panels instead. But for the price, this is perfectly acceptable.This product works well at applying extra diffusion at the cost of some maximum brightness, like diffusers all do. Considering the ring light on it's own already diffuses pretty well, this accessory is mostly there as an extra diffusion when you want the softest transition light. It makes it pretty niche, but still can be a useful tool to have to achieve a specific look.

And it's elastic, so it fits on my cheap knockoff ring lights. Very light, small, diffuses well. It's affordable as heck, and easy to throw in a kit. This is a no-brainer.

I rechecked and I'm pretty sure I got the correct diffuser for my new ring light model but I can't fit the diffuser fully on it after multiple tries. So, I'm offering photos that show the difference between the light as is, and with the diffuser cloth partially covering it. If you're using this for lighting up a person or live animal, the diffuser makes the light easier to tolerate while still providing illumination to enhance your photography or videos.

I found that this diffuser doesn't work well for me. It seems to cancel more light than it diffuses. However, this might be due to the quality of my ring light.

This filter/diffuser works very well to soften and filter the light. Easy as pie to use and proper lighting can make such a huge difference in still and video photography. Takes up little to no space and is super useful. Delicate material, but made well and if cared for, should last a long while. Reasonable price. I highly recommend.

This is a good light. Bright enough for desktop use, and allows for mounting the phone/camera in the center. Price is right, and works really well. I can recommend this product.

I've been using my ring light less and less because of the more harsh light I get from it causing sharp shadows. I could put a diffuser in front of it, but it's more setup work. This diffuser does a good job cutting the harshness of the light so I get a large source of diffused light. Simple addon that works well.

I am struggling to find the reason why the NEEWER RP18B ring light needs this diffuser. It does fit well, it was not hard to install and does create some minor diffusion (see pictures attached) but the RP18B already has a plastic diffuser so it seems unnecessary. The other thing is that the RP18B is a really nice looking light, so I feel like this diffuser detracts from the nice design lines of the original light. I am an experienced amateur photographer so perhaps there is a professional application for it ? … although the RP18B is geared towards the content creator market so I am just confused.

This won't fit al ring lights.It's more of a light canceler than a diffuser unless you want a little slit of light.

I needed a ring light / diffuser to brighten up my space and not have shadows cast over my face making look like a zombie while on zoom calls. This might knocked it out of the park! Super bright with different settings, compact in size, easy to use, easy to install, you can’t go wrong ! Love this light ! I won’t turn on my camera without it !

What I Liked:- It was very easy to install this diffuser and there were detailed instructions on how to do so- The materials used are sturdy and of high quality. I've taken it on and off my ring light so many times but it has yet to show any signs of wear or tear- It softens light very effectively- Because of the elastic, it's very easy to scrunch it up and store it away and it barely takes up any space- The diffuser back half is black which is perfect for preventing light from being leakedVery effective product.
