The hook/eve may be steel, but the body/shaft is aluminum. I chose this product specifically because it claimed to be steel - since I can't weld steel to aluminum, these are useless to me.

Doesn't tell the thread pitch anywhere in the description so if your trying to match it to something that is already in place, good luck. BTW, it a 24 pitch if anyone is interested. I had to return mine as I assumed it was a 16 pitch.

The item seems reasonable, but I ordered 6 and only got three, hence the low stars until this is corrected and I get the other three turnbuckles.
