I wasn’t really sure what I was doing but after not being able to install my front calipers due to not tightening the screws and one holding. It was a big mistake the screw holes got damaged and I was unable to repair them even with a rethreading kit and using helicoils. The helicoil kept coming out. So after installing a new fork. I had the worst wobble and it was so stiff it was scary to turn. After installing these the issue is gone and feels better than when I got the bike from the factory. I reused everything in this kit besides the top locking nut and cover as it just didn’t go on. Maybe I did something different but it works and that is all that matters. This is on a chinese mountain ebike that goes up to 34mph+Update after just removing the two stem bolts and retightening the top the headset is super wobbly now. Not sure what to do as I redid it from scratch and it isn’t going away. Update mistake is to remove your old headsets and install these. You need a ton of pressure so a bearing clamp tool is needed to get them down and tight and don’t forget to grease the headsets and inside where the headset is going to sit to make it easier and reduce damage as well as add corrision resistance.

It fits my MTB.No instructions come with the product. I figured it out with the product pictures on the face page.Even though the ball bearings are a good fit, the top covering cup does not fit tightly to the fork, making it cling while riding. I do not consider it as problem, because the bearing costed only $15. Bike repair shops charge about four to five times. I am happy with the product and recommend it.

I used this to replace the caged ball bearings on a 2017 Trek marlin with a carbon fork. You'll need to get an expander plug (do NOT use the starfangled nut!) if you're putting this in a carbon fork, but other than that it installed perfectly.

This is a surprisingly decent product. It has sealed bearings and fits well. Preloading the headset was not a problem and has been working flawlessly. Used this to upgrade from loose ball bearing headset. Very similar in looks and feel to CC.

The set is great now that I have a full set first package that came in was someone else’s return and only consisted of the top and bottom bushing, one of the two bearings and had to wait an just pay attention what you see in the products images is exactly what you’re getting everything should come to you in a tiny brown box not In a ziplock baggie
