Can't beat the price on this replacement shock. Installed on a 2006 Ford Ranger without a problem.

Easy enough to install if you're competent with tools and vehicles. Made a huge difference when towing and hauling, not to mention the lack of constant vibration and bumpiness during regular driving now. I was actually getting lower back pain from long drives in my 98 Ranger. After replacing them, I've put nearly 600 miles on them in 2ish weeks, with some towing, and my back feels great. All for $40!

2004 Ranger XLT flareside 4.0L 4x4.Fit well, first shock job on the truck and with living in the mid-west things were rusty. One lower bolt/nut came out without a hitch, the other would have required a torch and probably new hardware.Used a grinder to cut through the shock body sleeve then a hammer and chisel to punch through the last bit of metal, had I kept going with the grinder I would have had to fabricate a new lower shock mount.Worked well, as intended.

These are a great shock, that really smoothed out the ride of my truck. I have a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 2WD. I leveled the front a couple years ago and put 32 x 11.5 x 15 tires on. I left the stock shocks on and it was bumpy. Since then I have tried the following shocks to help compensate for the big tires and the lift, and all were too stiff. I am very glad I found the Monro-matic's. I finally have a comfortable ride again.- Bilstein HD - extremely firm, rough ride. I do not recommend for a midsize truck.- Rancho RS5000 - pretty rough ride on the road, but nice off road. All and all not what I was looking for- Monroe Sensa-Track - better than the Bilstein and the Rancho's. They were a nice shock but still had a stiff ride Another thing to note: If you have a leveled Ford Ranger Edge, Monroe 32338 are a perfect fit for a lifted front. This shock number was made for a 2003-2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I did a lot of research to find this length of shock.

i ordered 2 of these 32238 rear shock absorbers for my 2010 mazda b4000 ( ford ranger )what i received was 1 32238 rear shock and 1 32338 front shock for another vehicle ( packaging error at tenneco not amazon`s fault )although tenneco lists the 32296 as the proper front shock , the 32338 front shock actually fits the 4x4 ranger pickups far better as it allows full front suspension droop, and it allows the top retension nut to be tightened without lifting the lower front control armand with no binding .where as the 32296 shock , you have jack up front lower control arms in order to tighten the top retension nut to the shaft and it limits front suspension down travel.the only draw back is that you have remove the factory bump stop and install a aftermarket polyurethane bump stop init`s placeotherwise the front shock will contact the bump stop on hard braking
