For the money they charge for this box full of trash you would expect that the studs on the clamps could be long enough to install without fighting them. I'm not asking for much. An extra eighth of an inch would have been adequate for heaven's sake. This is my third purchase of a mishimoto product. I should have known better. The comment about customer service leaving something to be desired stems from a previous purchase when the representative laughed and laughed and laughed after explaining the ridiculously cumbersome process I would have to go through to get them to stand by their unconditional lifetime warranty. In short, don't buy ANYTHING mishimoto.

Very well manufactured product. Tolerances are very tight making for a good tight fit on a high pressure air line. The only problem, clamps could use 3-4 more threads. As the metal does not slide on product and fitting is exact.

MUST ensure you clean metal parts with brake clean and oil isn’t present. Make sure to put new seal in metal groove properly and the seal “seats” or they will blow off under pressure from turbo!

Purchased these boots to replace the stock Ford boots, one of which had blown. They are at least 3 times thicker than the stock original, and were extremely easy to install.

I used this to replace the worn and torn OEM boots on my 6.4 powerstroke.The boots themselves fit great and are working well (10 months later). The clamps, while being high quality, could use a few more threads on the bolt. I had to completely remove the nut in order to expand the clamp enough to fit over the boot, but then encountered problems getting the nut to start back onto the bolt. Once this was accomplished, everything worked fine.Although it may seem petty, it would be nice if the lettering were not covered up by the clamp once installed.Overall, I would recommend these.

EXCELLENT replacement turbo boots. Look no further but, asthetically, With all the logos all over the boots it would look better if it was printed where you could SEE them when installed. The clamps cover it all up and looks like o.e.m. boots. You don't really get to show them off. But you got the peace of mind they won't blow off.

These are much thicker walled than factory boots. I installed these after the factory boots developed small leaks and have been happy with the install.These come with all new clamps for the boots.
