This lateral file was easier to assemble than the comments would lead you to believe. As long as you follow the directions, it is very straightforward and took about 2 hours total.

The right side cabinet glides were factory installed 1 inch too low! 4 drawers don't fit! Looks like the wrong model "right side panel with pre-installed glides was packaged instead of the correct 1

I bought this to organize my office. I was able to assemble it with some difficulty( don’t think assembly is for everyone). It looks great and functions well but for the life of me can’t figure out how to get the locking system to work.
