This product is cheap and flimsy. Tracks are not great. Can’t remove key unless it’s locked. It automatically locks when you close it.

The item arrived partly damaged, from being packaged less than properly. Too cheap and bulky to bother with a return, so it made it to a closet. A little better packaging, even if it drives the price up slightly, would be very beneficial.

The directions need improvement. I got it together, but only because my husband had previously assembled some other file cabinets. In step 3 I had to find a larger screw because one of the 16 predrilled holes was too big and would not stay in place. Step 9 verbiage should be 'ensure that the left and right spring shaft..." Step 13 explanation is unclear. Step 15 should be "Attach fitting G to the LEFT side of part 11." Step 16, they don't tell you HOW to "Take out the innermost layer of the track." Correcting these things would prevent most of the review complaints about the product. Once together, it is an attractive file cabinet for medium duty use with a nice finish. The 'open one drawer at a time' safety feature and the lock are working. It is functioning properly with 2 drawers completly full. My husband liked it so well that he bought 2 more for his office. I was surprised because he is not fond of metal file cabinets. The dimensions of this lateral fail cabinet is nice because it does not protrude into the room, yet has good capacity.

I was in need of filing cabinets plus drawers to hold small utility items. These filing cabinets fit the bill! I also needed something to put my printer on, so I purchased an extra one. They are easy to put together, attractive, and sturdy. Plus they lock which was a bonus. I was impressed by how nicely they were packed for shipping. Even though I bought them a different times, they all arrived completely intact.

Drawer holder broke in just 6months, even when it was delivered the part where missingbetter to buy the Staple Drawer I am using that for last 6 years no issue.

Great filing cabinet. The price is so friendly to me and the cabinet itself is sturdy and well-made. I love its design and it can store many things. The drawers are very spacious and deep.It's a convenient helper that's easy to use and has a modern design. I couldn't be happier with our purchase and appreciate how functional and stylish this filing cabinet is. Highly recommend it!

Nice sturdy filing cabinet, should have bought this one first. Drawers work great, quiet and glide easy. The other type did not hold up only lasted two years.
