I'm a single guy who does a lot of cooking in the microwave. I have been trying to get away from microwaving everything in plastic with all the bad news about that lately. These are the perfect size for me to cook a serving of vegetables and meat. And they can just be thrown in the dishwasher instead of needing to be washed by hand like the plastic I used to use.

Love the size they are perfect for 1 or2 people. I use them in the microwave and don’t have to use a cover since they have a lid, then I store the leftovers in the same bowl. Less dishes to wash.
