When cutting, consider applying the proper amount of pressure at a 90 degree angle to allow the cutting wheel to do the work. For best results, consider not pushing too hard on the wheel, which can cause the grinder to stall or kick back or give a less efficient cutting action, while also increasing the chances of slippage or loss of control of the tool, resulting in injury or damage. Been using this cut off wheel for cutting stainless steel and really holds up quite well. So far wheel is not breaking down with any breaks in the composition.

I don’t use a cut off wheel very often so I probably am still on the first abrasive.But they cut steel pipe just fine

I cut over 25 ' of 3/8" flat steel. The only problem was the disc slipping in my old Makita grinder. I used an old, worn-down disc for a shim to stop the slippage. I had no problems with breakage and they lasted a lot longer than the DeWalt discs from hardware store. I have used these for other things and have yet to break a disc.

My first project was to cut through a Master Lock that was missing a key. Cut through the lock hasp easily. I also cut a link out of the chain which cut even more easily. The disk did not show any wear when I was finished.

Thinner than what is sold at Lowe’s but for cutting thin ceiling tin they are perfect. Fairly durable. I use them with my Makita grinder and I haven’t had any problems.
