I like this slow cooker a lot! I will note that my first one was a dud and wouldn’t turn on which I discovered after filling it up however Amazon set up my return and the new one got to me promptlyIt is digital which is a new concept for me, my old slow cooker is a dial and settings are manual. This one does have a power cord that is on the shorter side so keep that in mindThis one beeps and lights up as soon as you plug it up and it’s so easy to program, you set high or low heat and the amount of time you want it on, after the time is up it automatically goes to warm which is perfect if your not home to change the settingIt heats up nicely, and cooked everything inside perfectly. Because it’s electronic I’m not sure how the longevity will be and am keeping my manual on stand by, but so far so good

I like the look and design of this slow cooker. Its heavy because of the giant ceramic bowl. Its very large at 6qt capacity and it's got a wider space for cooking, which I like a lot. It makes it easier to put large cuts of meat and lots of potatoes. The cooker heats up very fast and the sides it get very hot, so you need to be careful to use only the handles while it's heating. It worked really well for my chilli night and it was easy to clean up since the pot is ceramic and smooth. It took me a moment to figure out the timer, but there are a lot of instructions on every feature, including the timer and all the things you shouldn't do with this slow cooker. The timer worked perfectly for me and my dish. The lid fits like any other slow cooker I have, and it's a little slide-y and there's a vent opening in the glass. This slow cooker is super sturdy and no wobble on the counter. The cord is kind of on the short side, so it's gonna be plugged on directly in front of where it will be used. Not a lot of options for that unfortunately.

The Magnifique 6 quart slow cooker looks nice and does the cooking job well. I have been using it for various slow cooker recipes, and I am satisfied with the results. There is an easy-to-understand owner's guide printed in English and French that comes with it. I had no problems setting up and using this slow cooker. One thing I did realize through experience, though, is that you only need to touch the power button on the panel quickly for it to respond; otherwise, it would not turn on (operator error!). Overall, this slow cooker does a really great job!Manual Recommended Cleaning:-Handwash the inner removable pot, with no abrasive soap or scouring pads, and let it air dry. If food residue is stuck on it, they suggest filling the pot with water and allowing it to soak before handwashing; If necessary, you can use a non-abrasive soap with a nylon pad/brush to remove any additional food residue.-Lid is dishwasher safe, but needs to be air dried.-The heating base part of the slow cooker should only be wiped with a damp cloth. I chose the oatmeal-colored one, and the outside of the base unit does not show any smudge marks during use.Other Notes:-You can use the removable inner pot to cook food in the oven and microwave, but NOT the lid.-The removable inner pot is designed to move from base unit to table, but the inner pot needs to be placed on a trivet or pad to protect the table from heat damage and possible scratches.-The warm function comes on automatically when the food stops cooking; and it will stay on for 4 hours or until you shut it off. The warm function temperature is not adjustable.-I noticed that the lid handle only (not the clear lid itself) stayed cool to the touch even when the unit was very hot.-The design of this slow cooker does not include a lid holder upon removing the lid; thus, you will need to find a safe spot to place it.

It’s a beautiful unit and I love the color. It fed 13 of us for a chicken chowder (with extra). so it’s large enough for entertaining.The only thing I’m having to adapt to is the timer on the warmer. It shuts off quicker than I’d like and I ended up having to toss the extras as it sat too long with me thinking it was still warm
