Removable Aluminium Hob-Proof
Our Sear/Sauté and Stew pot is hob proof, so you only have to use one pot from start to finish - sear and sauté any ingredients first for increased flavour, and then transfer to the slow cooker. As it is made from aluminium, it is lightweight as well as shatterproof, unlike traditional ceramic which is heavier and breakable. It is also non-stick for easier cleaning, and it's dishwasher safe too.

I absolutely love this 3.5 quart crackpot. The aluminum inside pot is so worth it. It can start out on the stove top so you can sear the meat. Then place it directly into the crackpot. It heats up so much faster. This size fit a good size roast, several potatoes and carrots. I recommend this product.

I like everything about this slow cooker. I'm normally only cooking for two people and it is the perfect size. I found that we were throwing leftovers out when I use the bigger slow cookers. My favorite feature of this slow cooker is the fact that I can take the insert out and brown my meat or saute my vegetables on top of the stove with the insert. I love this slow cooker so much that my best friend wanted one for her birthday. So I have bought one for her and one for me. I may actually have to buy another one for me. So I can have two going at the same time.

I’m really enjoying this crockpot. The inside is a metal removable pan that is lightweight and washed easily in the dishwasher. I was cooking soup and it was not quite done so I was able tp remove the pot and place it directly on the stove to cook it faster for a few minutes and then return back to keep it warm. Really nice feature.

I had a 7 qt and a 2 qt slow cooker, one too big and one too small; and both too heavy now that my arthritis is getting worse. This pot is the perfect size, it's lightweight, works perfectly and is pretty and easy to store. I like to brown my meat before adding the other ingredients, so this is the perfect solution. Only one pot to clean and no scrubbing with the non-stick surface. I've used it for meats, soups and stews; it really does it all. I highly recommend.

I had an old slow cooker several years ago that bit the dust. I really missed it. This is even better than that one. I love the metal insert for browning (like a pot roast), or for jumpstarting dinner when I didn't start early enough. It's also great for keeping food warm until you get home from errands or other activities and then dinner is ready right away. It's light weight and really easy to clean. Smaller than my crock pot so perfect for just 3 of us. On top of that I found I really appreciated how straightforward it is to operate. Just turn the dial to the temperature you want and go. No electronics to program. It's exactly what I wanted.

I have always used the ceramic crock pot for the entire family. But it's just my husband and me now. So, I went looking for a smaller slow cooker. I found this. Was leery of the aluminum pot. But ordered it anyway.I love it! i like that it's small. I like that it goes in the dishwasher. (the bowl part and lid.) I only cook 2 chicken breasts at a time, but looks like you can 100% do 3... maybe 4?Only thing I wasn't prepared for. It cooks way faster than my big pot did. It would take 6-8 hours to cook 2 chicken breast in the big boy, but only just shy of 3 hours, on low in this ICOOK. It makes sense. It's smaller and faster to warm up. Just a tip for those downsizing. I check everything with a meat thermometer.Keeping my big boy for family gatherings and making soups. I like to make a lot when I do soups.

Perfect for 2-4 serving size creation. I've made pasta sauce, soups, beef stew and have plenty to store away for future meals. So easy to clean - lift out the lightweight pot. You can start browning or whatever on a cooktop then put the pot in the slow cooker to finish. Simple control dial (power, high, low, warm). Size fits well as it's smaller and lots lighter. Exercise caution because you could scratch the non-stick surface. Lovely blue color and the handle on top of glass lid does not get hot! I'm giving away my larger slow cooker that I've not used since I got this little darlin'!
