I've been trying to get a screen door installed at my deck for months, but so far none of the workers I've brought in to do the job have been able to figure out how to do that without installing a completely new door/screen combo. (It's complicated, it's a French door with a sliding track, and so far I haven't had any luck at all in getting it done.)When I saw this, I decided it might be a good temporary solution, and so far I am quite pleased with the results. It was easy to install, and it's holding up well. When we go through the doorway, we do have to turn around and make sure the magnets "catch" all the way to the bottom. But that's no big deal, because they do hold well and are easy to simply push together until they catch.Because I applied it to a white door frame, I did end up ordering white velcro from amazon rather than using the black velcro that came in the package. But it works just as well and looks a lot better than the black would have.I'm sure I will eventually get that real screen door. But in the meantime, this is a very workable solution!

High-Quality, Durable Screen – Just as Described! This magnetic screen door is far superior to the average ones being sold. It feels 3 to 4 times thicker, providing exceptional durability and long-lasting performance. The 265g/㎡ reinforced mesh is heavy-duty, and the anti-wear sleeve at the bottom prevents damage, which is a great touch! The magnets are fantastic—unlike other screens with spaced-out magnets that don't always close properly or fall off after use, this one has full-length magnetic strips that create a secure, tight seal every time.I also love the reversible left/right opening feature and the extra-wide adhesive tape for added stability. Installation was quick and easy, with no tools needed.Overall, this is an excellent quality screen door that’s well worth the investment. Highly recommend!

Decent quality screen so far. The mesh is very durable. I got this to install on my sliding glass door which is 97" tall. I will have to modify it slightly to get it to fit the width as I only want to cover the side of the door that opens, which is 49" wide.

This is a very well-made magnetic closure screen. It comes with enough hook-and-loop tape to go along the sides and top of the door opening. The tape has adhesive backing that sticks well to clean surfaces. The adhesive is strong enough to lift paint off when it is removed, so be sure about alignment. The instructions say to first run the tape along the edges of the screen, then peel the paper backing as the screen is positioned over the door opening. I did a trial fit of the screen over the opening (without the tape) and marked the edges, then applied the tape to the opening first so I could be sure to push it firmly into place. I then attached the screen when I was satisfied the tape was secure.I have had other magnetic screen doors in the past. This one is a better product in that is has a full-length magnetic strip at the closure. It closes consistently without leaving gaps or puckers. I also like that the closure is off-center so that it can be positioned close to the handle of the door. As the screen is reversible, it will work with the door handle on either side.Be aware of a couple things when buying magnetic screen door...Sizing is very important. There is no way, short of cutting and reattaching the edging with a sewing machine, to adjust the screen size for smaller door opening. So, measure carefully before you buy. Also, be aware that magnetic screen doors do not stop pets from pushing through the door. A dog or cat can simply give a little push with their nose and the door opens for them. This is very convenient if you want to allow pets to go through the door at will; the screen simply closes automatically behind the animal. But it is not good if the door leads to an unrestricted space where the pet can wander. In my installation, the doorway leads to an elevated deck and the screen allows the cats to go outside whenever they want, yet it still keeps insects out of the house. Perfect!

I had another screen door for the back "French door" of my ambulance. It cost half the price of this one and, in my maiden voyage, the lightweight screen was blown into a screw where it got caught and ripped. I just assumed you should expect this. But the seller's claims that their product is better than the competition are correct. This IS heavier, stronger, even the velcro tape is twice as wide. The "hook" (stiff) part of the velcro is applied to the door frame, leaving the "loop" (soft) part on the screen that will not stick to or pull the rest of the screen when it is removed, folded and put away. Finally, for my purpose with a bench on one side of the French door, having the offset door puts the opening at the perfect spot where it is less likely to be blown open. The magnetic close is stiffer than the other and less likely to stick to the wrong spot. Doing the math of $16 vs. $30, I believe this stronger screen will last far more than twice as long as the cheaper screen which makes it's higher price justified.

Easy to install. I ordered the 38" by 82" black system. I like the weights at the bottom, which help to bring the panels to an easy close. I've installed this type of screen before. That screen didn't last very long due to the material splitting from use. Once that started the splits multiplied and got out of control. I read that this screen material is stronger and I am hope that proves to be true. I'll have to update. The dimensions are as expected. The hook and loop tape is great, very strong and works well. The magnetic closure strips are heavy and strong. The seams come together and hold well. I'm expecting this screen to help to keep flying insects out. As long as it holds up, it is sure to be very helpful.5 Stars
