I had a similar screen a few years ago at a different house and ended up just taking it down. I decided to try this because I really wanted to be able to open my deck door to get some cross ventilation without lot of bugs coming in.I am so impressed with this screen. It was easy to put up, feels very stable and secure, opens easily and closes well.The only negative is that it is two or three inches too short. I may have measured incorrectly, so that may be my fault. I would caution people, that in measuring, DO NOT measure the opening as the screen is mounted on the frame above the opening, You need to allow about 2" above the opening and 1" on either side of the opening for the screen to attach.Overall, I love the product.

This has been a game-changer in my Florida house. When the weather is cooler, I can turn off my AC and open my front door to allow a cross-breeze through my house to my back lanai. It keeps the mosquitoes and noseeum's out. The only downside is the fact that the screens do not magnetize or stick to the door threshold on the bottom - I had a neighborhood snake sneak in and scared me nearly to death. He was only little and I was able to return him to his outside environment. Just sayin'...

This has been so helpful since I have a new backyard. The magnet works really well and the material is thick. It keeps the hot air out in the cold air in. Only complaint is the length, it’s like 2 inches short of the door and flies can find their way in sometimes.

I have tried a similar product to this, as seen on TV... It sucked. It was nothing but cobb Webby strings, it unraveled and the magnets were terrible with that particular product. However, this screen is of much, much better quality. The screen, magnets and trim on this door beats the rest. The screen is actually really high quality and the weight is like four times better than the as seen on TV product we tried first. These magnets are incredible compared to the other cheaply made similar product. They grab each other and have a strong bond, so the screen stays closed even in the wind! The other brand, not so much. This one also has the addition of tiebacks... That's a great idea for when you are in and out , like barbequing or whatnot. All in all, if you were failed by the cheaper quality brand, try this magnetic door screen. It's truly heavy duty and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
