Mark the points where the screws will go, and drill both screws into the marks you made.(The reference data of the distance between the two holes is 12.25"(31.3cm).)

These look beautiful and have a very strong magnet. No slipping, no cheap looking thing hanging on my fridge. Just awesome. I would buy again if I needed more. I also wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Just really like them. EXACTLY what I was lookin for to neaten up a counter filled with receipts and cooking instructions, manuals, etc. now off the counter and looking good.
