This is exactly what we needed. We took the fluorescent light down because it was so dark and this light has truly brighten up our kitchen. Love. Super easy to install

This was a great upgrade to our dining room. Installation was quick. We opted for Edison vintage LED bulbs, frosted, and it looks great. We have a long dining room table, adn replaced an old round chandelier. The rods are 12", 12", and 6", plus the chain has several links, so you can basically adjust to any height at all.2 issues:1. The packing is not great. When received, we were disappointed that some of the rods were free to bounce around, and had gouged the wood. This was a factory packing issue, but Amazon sent a replacement very fast so ++ to Amazon. Be sure to check your parts immediately for damage.2. The instructions, in both kits, were for a wall sconce, and very unhelpful for assembling this fixture. However, it is all straightforward and could be done without instructions by anyone remotely handy. Be sure to feed the wire through the poles/rods with the plastic bushings to prevent damage to the wires. One side had bushings, the other does not.Now that it is in, we really like our upgrade.

nice light and I wanted it really bad but the box was broken that it shipped in, some pieces were loose in the box and some pieces were missing so I sent it back.

I love the lamp but I change the wood to a piece of 4x4 wood...And I love it this way.

As this is a long and wide chandelier instead of a more circular based one, it may not work for your dining setup. We got a very similar fixture for our kitchen and loved it, so we got this one for our dining room. We have an 8 foot long dining table and were specifically looking for an elongated fixture to reach over the whole table. This one is very nice. It looks more expensive/lux than it actually is. It was fairly straightforward to assemble and install. Looks really nice and jazzes up the place to a modern chic.
