This is great brush washer for one or two smaller brushes. But it is about the size of a one cup measuring cup.

Fantastic little brush cleaner but it can be prone to leak if it tips over in your pack. I still think its the perfect size and weight for painting outdoors and in the wilderness.

I love painting in really stupid places--I have a bad habit of balancing my water cups on things that will lead to them falling, or just ruining cups from paint. I take this cup to the park with my paint and I can fill it with water before leaving, and it doesn't spill anywhere or leak at all. I'm terribly messy, but somehow remember to put the top back on this bad boy when I'm done painting--which is a life saver because I smack it around all the time on accident and I've knocked it over, and it's never leaked.

I have been looking for another small brush washer, This is the size I wanted, The inside strainer appears to be smooth, so my brushes will not be frayed. I have not used it yet so I cannot comment on if it leaks as I use mine with turpentine for oil painting, I hope the rubber gasket will not warp or fall off. I was happy to find this small size.I have an older washer which is made of heavier metal all around, but it unfortunately will leak if it falls sideways in my bag as the rubber gasket has warped.

I bought this because I've broken the glass Silicoil brush cleaning tank twice! This is much smaller but contains turpentine with no leaks thus far. It has a cute little handle that I can hang on my art cart and it seems pretty sturdy.

Great value. Heavy duty, very sturdy. The bails that hold the lid down are very strong. Does a great job of cleaning brushes. Allows solids to settle out keeping top layer of solvent cleaner so it does a more effective job of cleaning brushes.
