This stand doesn't really fit the body of a jazz bass very well. To make it work, the arms need to be uneven and the weight of the bass is too much for the short legs so its pretty unstable. Looks cool though.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter so I could finally get mine back! It is easy to put together and seems to be sturdy enough. The wood is a nice touch. It will hold an acoustic or electric. It really doesn't matter what kind of stand you put your guitar on...if you hit it hard enough it will fall over! Be careful out there! 👍

I ordered this stand for my electric guitar and my main concerns for a stand were being able to hold the guitar weight and standard support of the guitar body. The stand is made of solid wood and the metallic lock bar is pretty strong. The assembly will not take a long time. The pads may be a bit large during the tightening of the screws which would make you increase some pressure or cut a small part from the end. The top sponge bracket covers the wooden surface, so the guitar body will not be scratched by the wood. The length of the frame is a bit large for an electric guitar but is quite perfect for acoustic or classical guitars. The pads are soft and supportive although I doubt their durability because they are deformed with the guitar weight relatively fast.Overall, a relatively standard wooden guitar stand with easy assembly and good support at a medium-range price!
