Doesn’t quite fit my Roswell but it works, great design after I put some felt on the side it will be perfect.

I have a custom offset flying V guitar than I built 20yrs ago. I have always had to hang it since there wasn't a good option for guitar stands. I am happy to announce that this design works well. I might put slightly taller pads on the base to raise it up another 1/4" because my guitar has about 1/2 clearance at most to the floor. Even with that though, it can't actually touch the floor it just makes me uneasy seeing it that close.

All the cool factor of hanging a guitar without actually having to hang a guitar. Easy to assemble. Very stable on the ground. Fits every guitar I have hung from it with no issues at all. 10/10.

Easy to assemble. Fits and holds my electric bass guitar easily. With it being solid wood it is very strong. Fairly light for it being wood. The way it holds the guitar is very good as it keeps it looking great. The design makes it valuable for decoration pourposes too.

Such a simple and effective design, perfect in it's function and well crafted. The wood is beautiful and this stand is very sturdy and easy to assemble. It's well worth it's price. I've hung both my acoustic and electric guitars on it and the stand is extremely well balanced. I keep it in my workspace so I can reach a guitar anytime while sitting on my chair. Not only is this stand a knockout visually, but more important to me, it’s an excellent design. I can appreciate a ‘good design’.

At a price point of $75 I expected this guitar stand to be a bit higher quality. There is a scratch on the bottom of the base (see photos). That is not really a big deal because that will be facing the floor. The wood “grain” of the routed-out “inlay” in the top of the base is really not that nice (see photos). There is an area of discolored wood on the spine of the stand that faces you (see photos). I will not able to wipe the discoloration off. It is in the wood.It took just under 15 minutes to assemble the stand with the included Allen wrench. It is made of all wood, and it is very tall. It stands 42 inches tall by 14 ½ inches wide at its widest point, by 16 inches deep. The spine that faces you has felt padding where the body of the guitar hangs. The U-grip that holds the head of the guitar has the same rubber padding on it that you would find on other guitar stands. It has good balance, which is important in a guitar stand like this because the spine that holds the weight of the guitar angles forward. I put a seven-pound 2009 Epiphone Les Paul Junior on the stand and the stand remained very solid and sturdy – even on a carpeted floor. I don’t have a Flying V, but Gibson Flying Vs also weigh around seven pounds and Epiphone Flying Vs usually come in at around 5-6 pounds. This stand should easily hold those guitars and remain stable.I would give this guitar stand five stars, but because of the quality problems noted above I am giving it four stars.

Update - not tall enough for 34" Bass. This stand is pretty from a distance but up close you can see a couple plugs in the wood and there is small scratch on base side (won't be noticeable). Also there is a felt pad on the top (why?) that has a bit of the corner that cut off. Again no big whoop but seems like an unforced error.I do like the wood as opposed to metal pole stands and am glad to have this stand. Being 20 USD more that the Hercules stand with the AutoGrip would impact a purchasing decision. This stand seems pretty stable and shaking it gently with my strat, I think, it could handle a gentle bump without tipping.
