Probably more cosmetic gratification than durability. Looks great but not made of the heaviest material. I don’t believe there will be any issues under normal usage but not real sure how well it will survive under impact.

This looks good, seems to be built well, too, but it is NOT high strength steel as mentioned in the description. This is 100% aluminum, except for the step part. It's ok as aluminum, but it surely won't stop a bump from another car from the rear any more than just the receiver would. That's mostly why I bought it.Otherwise, I'm keeping it because it's a nice step, looks wider than 36" when installed (probably because of its bulky 3" piping), and overall looks nice on my sorento.3* overall for it being aluminum.3* for sturdiness, same reason. It's pretty solid though if you're just standing on it.

It went right on . the drawing on the directions were not great . They give you a horseshoe Bolt I put it on from the top and the give you an angled plate that you put the bolt through and you want to catch the Reese hitch and onion tighten the nuts down in that makes the whole thing sturdy he just put it in with the pin is pretty wobbly so you have to bolted on with the Horseshoe Bolt that's my only negative to it. But that does Stir It Up So if you want to take it off you have to take dead horseshoe bolt off they can't just put it in the East with a pan and pull it out I mean you could but it it's pretty Wiggly if you step on it. But I don't plan on telling anything's in the near future. So I'm putting ever sees her some oil or something on them nuts we can get them off when you want to take the take this off so you can hook on something. Father that looks good went right on
