Comfort grip high leverage diagonal cutters with a 12 degree angled head require 21% less effort. The comfort grip handles are made of two color dual component material providing a comfortable grip for heavy use. The 12 degree angled head for flush cutting providing space of approximately 70 mm clearance for gripping. The high cutting performance is due to optimum co-ordination of the cutting edge angle, transmission ratio and the ergonomically handle shape. The precision cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 64 HRC and will cut medium hard wire up to 4.2 mm; hard wire up to 3.0 mm and piano wire with maximum 2.5 mm diameter. The forged-on axle offers a high level of stability for heavy use and long service life.

The one I received came with the comfortgrip handles at different heights. So I will be returning and will most likely purchase at a store so I can pick a better one without worry

Hoy me llego y ya la use. Tuve que cortar unos remaches de de 3/16" Para mover unas soleras. Lo corto casi al ras (el pedazo restante salió fácilmente con el taladro). Los remaches son de metal blando, pero el grosor era bastante ancho (4.65mm mas lo lo que aumento al ser compactados le calculo mas de medio centímetro seguro.). Se siente cómoda en la mano. el ángulo con el que viene, facilita cortes al rasMi primera pinza Knipex, la compre hace como 7 años, enseguida me di cuenta de la diferencia con otras pinzas que he tenido. Corta sin esfuerzo, y aun esta en perfectas condiciones (excepto que por el uso, se borraron las indicaciones que vienen impresas en los mangos, algo lógico).

I use these daily, and just got my 3rd pair. Most comfortable and longest lasting side cutters I've had. Worth the extra few dollars over other brands

I looked a long time for a new pair of diagonal cutters to replace my 20 year 6 inch Snap On model that simply wore out. The new Snap On replacement cutters are not as a good - lack the cutting power and the larger Snap On cutters are big $$ so I looked elsewhere and was happy to find this Knipex model.Almost bought the Klein equivalent but they were nearly $30 higher in price, in the Snap On price range. Knipex is made in Germany which is way better than China.I've used these cutters for pulling Romex staples, cutting dozens of 3/16" stainless cotter keys and 12 gauge Romex wire. Was surprised that the Knipex cut the stainless cotter keys so easily, even at the very tip of the cutter jaw. The extra size handles are comfortable, the jaws are small enough to get into tight areas and the angled head is handy for pull staples and cotter keys.Overall, quality product with excellent fit and finish. I'll have these another 20 years. Hope that helps.

Currently a substation wireman, always had Klein throughout my career. Switched to knipex to to see if it helped my hands after hand troubles. Very comfortable and lighter when I tote my tool bag. Super high quality and they cut 10 thru 4 awful all day with less strain, click stress and weight. Couldn’t be happier, been buying knipex to replace my old tools.

I use these now on a daily basis as part of my kit, you can tell theyre a quality tool as soon as you pick them up. The only thing is the nubs at the top of the grips keep them from sitting all the way into my tool belt, although with time I expect the slots on the tool belt to stretch.

Nicely built, quality tool, I bought because my new Klein side cutter broke. Overall really nice tool but I’m not crazy about the grip, too bulky, I prefer the regular Klein “insulation” and this is even bulkier than the Klein “journeyman “ series, just personal preference; otherwise cuts fine and so far it’s held up well even after cutting materials harder than copper and aluminum.

Bought these for the 12 degree angle that allows you to cut small nails and wire. I wanted to install soffit on my garage and used these pliers to cut small nails that where protruding from the shingles and boards.See my You Tube review " Knipex Diagonal Cutter Pliers 74 22 200 Review. "

Over the years I have purchased several different brands of electrical tools. I discovered Knipex back in the early 80's and I still have the first waterpump pliers I bought 36 years ago. Since then I have bought several more. I like Klein tools but these hold up just as well and have more comfortable handles than Klein. These are professional grade tools and work very well. When it comes to diagonal cutters I prefer the angled head.They are very sharp and easily cut #8 copper wire. The angled head makes pulling staples easy.

These are the perfect diagonal pliers. I'm an electrician. Insulated. The piano wire cutting steel..the best. Great for removing staples. Smooth action. German made. Rugged. The best.
