I spent the extra money to get the Kitchen Aid name brand, expecting top quality. However, I’m a bit disappointed that I need to babysit my mixer because this bowl tends to pop out of the base after a few minutes. As long as I stand there and hold it in, it’s fine. Not good when whipping buttercream frosting!

I recently purchased the KitchenAid Stainless Steel Bowl, and let me just say, this thing is a game-changer in my kitchen! My Kitchen Aid mixer came with a glass bowl and it’s heavy and unwieldy. I finally decided to buy a stainless bowl and I’m so glad I did! It’s much easier to deal with. I like being able to chill the bowl for whipping cream. Easy to clean as well. Wish I’d bought this years ago!

This is very nice and sturdy! I got this because I bake a lot and I need the extra bowl, it gets very time consuming having to wash one bowl when I need to mix another thing, this has been very useful! Plus it has a handle for easy holding while scraping!

There is no doubt that this mixing bowl is as good or better than the original. I weighed the two bowls to see if the replacement was made cheaper. My original bowl weighs 22.22 ounces, the new bowl with handle weighs 25.04 ounces. Plus, the finish on the new bowl is a buffed glossy stainless steel which looks great. The inside of the bowl is not glossy. The bowl fits perfectly in the mixer as do all the original accessories. It's a beautiful product for a fair price.

I have a couple of extra mixer bowls that are plain stainless with no handle and they work great. I often cook multiple batches and so I use several bowls at a time. I ordered this one because at the time it was posted at a better price and shipping rate than the others. I've been very happy with it! It is very well made. The metal is shinier than the matte stainless of my other bowls. The handle is a nice feature however with the handle it does not stack for storage like the handle-less ones which is something to think about if you want to have several bowls for your mixer- the others will nest inside of this one okay but more than one would present a storage issue for me. Nice bowl though and if you are looking to replace or upgrade to a handle this is a good option.

KitchenAid Bowls - while one is sufficient and will serve you for all your baking needs, if you're like our gluttonous family, having two bowls means that we can make not one - but TWO - bowls of cookies at one go! Or you can make one bowl of cookies and a loaf or two of bread! Or you can make a cake AND a bowl of frosting without having to waste time transferring batter and washing bowls immediately. That said, this bowl is just as good as the bowl that comes standard with all KitchenAid mixers - it's sturdy, fits perfectly in the KitchenAid, and is easy to wash. While one is sufficient, it never hurts to have an extra bowl if you're looking to make a lot of treats to eat.

I ordered this product so that when I make chiffon cake which requires two mixing bowls, I do not have to transfer the first mixture done in the original bowl to another bowl, then wash the original bowl in order to use it to whip up the egg whites. Also the bowl has a handle, which is a bonus, as the original Classic mixing bowl does not have it. It makes baking chiffon cakes much easier.
