Kids and several adults could not open with "key" and when it was finally pulled apart broken the sand flew out.

Gave it to my grandson he especially loves the pirate chest to put his lil secret toys in. He likes the sand, its so much easier to clean up than play dough stuck to your carpet

I received a completely gold chest with a surprise tool and 3 small plastic gems. The gems were rough with the indents that the sand seemed to have pressed into them and were weirdly a little sticky. If you get this I would suggest opening and mixing the gems and maybe some play coins from sorting else inside the sand, the gems were just sitting on the bottom.Good part is the sand is nice and fun to play with.

Our toddler LOVES these boxes. He always wants to know what will be in the sand. I love that it’s a whole collection, so he can explore and play with several mini chests and collect all of the treasure! **very small pieces so definitely not for younger kids

Why do children love small things? I don't know but my 3 year old loves looking for the gems. He's a collector. At $5 it was worth the 30-45 minutes he spent with this.

This grandma loves kinetic sand. Keeps my active 6 year old boys busy for a long time. And easy cleanup! This treasure box is very small but well made.

Después de recibir arena mágica en algunas mascotas de una conocidísima colección de muñecas, decidí comprar la de esta marca y coger este set en concreto con la idea de guardar la arena en el propio cofre. Me ha parecido muy cara. Se nota que está hecha con arena natural pero se me hizo demasiado gruesa. Deja una sensación un tanto extraña en las manos después de jugar y tiende a quedarse metida bajo las uñas. Eso sí, "fluye" muy bien.Probé con algún molde a darle forma, pero se deshace muy deprisa. En otras marcas la forma se mantiene incluso durante días. Me ha parecido muy buena la idea de buscar las monedas escondidas, pero el cofre en el que viene es demasiado pequeño y se acaba saliendo la arena. La llave para abrirlo tampoco es que funcione demasiado bien, es más para apretar con ella aunque al principio da la sensación de tener que girarla para que empuje la tapa hacia arriba, pero realmente no es así y al final acabas abriendo con la mano. Y por el precio que tiene, el cofre bien podía haber tenido auténticas bisagras y no sólo plástico doblado.A mí me ha salido la herramienta del cuadradito, pero es un tanto endeble para la dureza de la arena incluída así que terminas dejándola por ahí aparcada.Lo que sí me ha gustado es que no tenía ningún tipo de olor a químicos, por lo que en ese sentido no resulta nada desagradable.Sinceramente, no sé si probaré otros productos de Kinetic Sand. Es cierto que otros sets parecen tener arena más fina pero por el contrario no parecen incluir un buen almacenamiento (las cajas de cartón se rompen y los areneros destapados desparraman toda la arena fuera si no tienes cuidado al guardarlos y teniendo mascotas, tampoco los veo viables), salvo quizás los maletines más grandes y en un producto de este estilo creo que la opción de recoger la arena para meterla en una bolsita zip para que no se estropee es bastante rollo.

Fab little boredom buster, baught this for my son (along with some chocolate coins to add) and he loved it! Im not sure what people wer expecting in size for the price.. i expected it to be minute! But i was pleasantly suprised, enough sand for my son to dig and make a few little castles, hes happy so im happy! Purchaseing another for our little girl as i also think she would love this :)
