This little pop up container can be used as a hamper, trash can, etc. It's really compact and great for traveling. I love the mesh, so anything wet/dirty doesn't get trapped inside when using as a laundry basket.

Used it past three camping trips. The only down fall is getting a trash bag out of unit. I believe their is better way to hold trash bag up. Nice long tie downs.

The headline pretty much says it all. It's quite a handy thing to have at hand, though I don't use it on a boat. I have a relatively small room and I use this for my inorganic, dry, trash. That's my only issue with it, dry vs. wet trash. Obviously, this is not suited to accommodate wet trash, so you will need another option for that. That said, though, this will serve you well regardless of where you choose to use it.

This is a tall and skinny poo-up trash can. It has a strap with a buckle at the top for tying it around a tree or a post. This works well to hang it. Has two tabs that lock it closed, these keep it tightly compressed. Has a zip-open top that has a slit in the center if you want it mostly covered but still open. Has a ringnof snaps around the inside; I don’t know why. I guess these could snap thru a bag to hold it. They don’t snap into anything that I see on this can.Needs to hang or be tied to a tree; wtoo skinny to stand on its own. Can be used for other stuff, not just trash. Pops right open upon unlatching, shuts by redoing them. Easy to use and easy to clean with the mesh panel for drying/drainage.

I used this for cabin trash on a 5 day camping trip. Took the trash to the dumpster every day. It was handy to carry and hung over a bunk with the buckle on strap. All that was great. Easy to add trash. But on the 4th trip to the dumpster the zipper jammed and I tugged and it broke. So that's not good!

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)A mesh collapsible can can be used all sorts of ways! For us, whilst our house is being remodeled and lacking space, we are using this to store (and tote) our laundry downstairs to the laundry room!I originally got this collapsible can to use while we are camping in the great outdoors to store equipment to be carried to the site, and use as a trash can, natch! I'm even thinking of get another can to store my collapsible cold plunge tub that is missing its carry bag, as the dimensions are perfect! Not only is this can fairly well made, it has a strap across the top with a sturdy buckle to assist you in carrying this can, an opening that keeps trash and whatnot from flying away, plus a zip off top with easy rubberized pull tabs for easy opening for removal of said trash. There's straps with snaps within the can that hold a 13 gal bag in place too. Lastly, there's yet another strap at the bottom to anchor it to a post or railing of an RV to help it stay put. Here's some details that aren't shown in the listing:The can is 28" tall, and is 12" in width or diameter. The nylon fabric portion is a tad on the weak side; the mesh is on the light side as well. I'm unsure how long this can will last, truth be told. I will say the 'spiral' that helps this can collapse beautifully is covered by fabric, a good thing! (I've had a lot of collapsible items over the years that didn't have this enclosed feature, causing the metal spiral 'spring' to fall apart-- on this can it won't.In summary, with care, this trash can could last a while. Just don't be too rough with it. I would recommend using this trash can with 13 gal trash bags, to insure longevity as well. Enjoy your camping and boating experiences! This collapsible can will help keep things tidy for you.***********************************************************May Your Year Be Warm, Cherry And Bright! ;o)Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Hopefully, this review was helpful.

I will be using this in our camper van, so my review is different than if it was being used on a boat. There are two things that I do not like. 1) To open up the bag, there are two loops that you need to undo. The loops are around a plastic piece and they are tight. I found them difficult to undo and my husband really struggled since his fingers are bigger. I think Velcro would be a better option. When you undo one, the bag opens up halfway, of course. After using the bag, putting it back into the loops is also a struggle. 2) The bag does not actually have hooks. It has snaps. We found snapping in the trashbag to be tedious. If you are going out on a boat for a day and only doing it once, it may not be an issue. If you are camping and using it daily, this is a pain. The bag has straps that allows you to secure it to a pole. This is nice for a campsite or boat.It has a zippered top with a slit. This is nice if you are throwing away cans. It will be messy if you are throwing away food items or plates. The top does not have to be used, so it is not really an issue. The quality is good for what it is. It is very compact when it is being stored.
