Allows for effective communication between horse and rider whilst encouraging relaxation and salivation. Dee ring compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth and without the dangers posed by the arms of a full cheek snaffle. Mild bit designed to create less pressure than a standard French link and copper link encourages salivation.

So far my green horse is okay riding in it. I wanted something softer in her mouth to maybe stop her chewing and pushing against the bit so much but if anything today she hung on it more. So will have to see as I hack around and jump how it goes.

It's a snaffle bit. It does exactly what it's advertised to do. Works for your feistiest chestnut mare.

Introducing a bit for the first time.Her mouth (within 10 -15 minutes) became quiet as if she had been packing this comfortable bit for quite sometime.I chose this dee bit for an added “feel” in helping her to better understand turn signals. She’s a three-year-old large pony (13.3 hands) with a laid-back disposition.
