Just replace the old dull yellowish bulbs with these bright white bulbs and you can see way better for backing up your truck

The stock backup lights on the F-150 were just plain dim. I replaced them with this product. Easy install. At night, they light it up back there. I have been running them about three months. No problems. They are great.

I've installed two of these 921 LEDs in two modern Euro cars (2023 Audi Q7 and 2017 VW Golf), both work without triggering any errors. Brightness has increased immensely -- see photos for comparison. Because the base is more "circuit board" like without detents, they have a tendency to get loose, particularly if these are installed in a hatch that requires manual closing (i.e., slamming the hatch shut). As such, I would only recommend installing these where the reverse light housing is fixed, or in a power-operated hatch. Since the reverse lights on the Golf are located on the manually operated hatch, I did end up switching to a different type of LED bulb (from VLEDs, with detents in the base), and moved these to another vehicle with fixed tail lamps.

My Tacoma has a canopy on it so when looking through the rear view mirror or shoulder checking, you look through 3 windows and two of them are nearly blackout tinted. My wife and son (new driver) also love the brightness when backing up. This tailight upgrade is a 5-10minute job with minimal tools and expertise needed. Great product.

White light without much of a blue tint. Brightest LED bulb I have tested yet, brighter than other LEDs that have more SMDs. Colour temperature when viewing through a backup camera is good, other bulbs cause issues with the white balance.

I advise to everyone buy from this JDM Astar because of allot reasons:1- His delivery it's on time .2- His packaging is good each light came in deferent plastic bag and over them a bubble page for safety.3- The items inside the package its all in one piece and brand New nothing is broking.4- The lights inside the package is very good high quality.Now I well talk little bet about it :Since I am overseas delivery and amazon doesn't sport thatI had to use two ways for shipping 1st from Amazon to my mail boxIn U.S (Aramex) and 2nd from the US box to Saudi Arabia in the beginningI thought it well take more time than the normal shipping shows butIt didn't and I have been charged 61 Saudi Ryals which is equal to 15.64$Because of Waiting second thing I didn’t expect that kind of quality its very niceand very good and extremely bright like Xenon now I well but some pictures at same time I receive and after install and some comparison between old stuck and the ones from JDM Astar and the pictures well tell what is besti will give an update after trying the lights on my car for long term and tellhow long they well last on a car installing date 05/Aug/2016 .I will buy the rest of interior light and light plate and signals light from JDM Astar since I know their quality right now and I will do the same review on them with pictures .New update about the pack up light until this day 19/11/2017 they still working fine with me .If any one planning to by like thim don't hesitate at all and go on 👍

First, the service was amazing. I ordered these on 7-27 with expected arrival of 8-3. They were delivered today, 7-30.Second, this is the second time I have ordered LED bulbs from JDM Astar. I ordered running/turn signal bulbs for an '03 F150 and was so pleased, I convinced my boss to order the same bulbs for his '14 Silverado. He was absolutely impressed.I ordered these bulbs for my '10 Expedition for backups. We rely on the side mirrors for backing at night because the vehicle came with limo tint on all the rear windows. The OEM bulbs were just not cutting it, even with the front windows down.These new bulbs light up the entire driveway and I can see the whole front of my neighbors house across the street at a distance of about 50 yards.These bulbs were worth every single penny. 10 times brighter than the OEM, bright and clean white illumination, and by far makes it much easier to see what is behind our vehicle.Giving this item 5 stars is an understatement. I look forward to ordering the rest of the bulbs for my Expedition.I have a attached before and after photos, including a photo of the LED on left rear while OEM is still in right rear.

its not really a 1000 lum but i guess if you add up the led chips it would be 1000 lum but over all its brighter the stock and looks great JDM STAR customer for life now. had over 60 perches from them (me and family, friends )and had very little issues with their products i am an automotive technician and i do a lot of after market installs and mods and as for lights i recommend this brand over any other. Keep up the great customer service and work.

Incredible output. Very nice, snug fit. Much, much brighter than incandescent. After buying these, it's hard going back to stock. Everything is now lit up right when I shift to reverse. It's almost like having headlights back there.
