This piece of crap is being sent back, it was not worth the money I paid for it. The only thing good was the blade itself. No way to attach the handle securely to the flimsy metal rod. Would not purchase from this company again

The shovel is easy to assemble, just twist all parts together. The head of the shovel is made of thick metal coated with black paint and the edge is sharp to remove substances tightly sticking to the concrete like weeds, chewing gums, etc. Where I live just had a white Christmas, snow became hard and icy on my driveway that took forever to melt due to lack of sunshine and low temperature. Snow was so thick that ice melting didn't work effectively, either. I was glad that I got this shovel that made the removal of snow so easy.

i got to use it a few times scrapping grass from overgrowing onto the concrete. it worked alright for that, cutting chunks of grass as well.i will say the handle isn't the sturdiest thing around but it's not like it's gonna disintegrate either.haven't gotten to use it during winter just yet but that's coming very soon but thought it's well past the point i normally review things. i can't foresee any problems during winter though but if something comes up i guess ill just edit the review and add that in.

I used this tool to help edge around our sidewalks and get the borders looking better. We had an overgrown back yard where the dirt washed onto the sidewalk a long time ago and then the weeds/grass proceeded to grow over it. I used this shovel to clear the dirt, recreate the edges, and basically tell the yard who's boss when it comes to where it's allowed to grow. My yard looks great and our neighbor even asked to borrow the shovel to use on his yard. I can't wait to see how it does with this ice build up we get on our stairs.

I'm using this to remove old carpet adhesive and construction residue from a concrete floor. The lower level of the house is on a concrete slab, so the carpet pad was glued down. This is making quick work of it.It's heavy enough to get under the padding, and to remove drywall mud and paint residue from the builders. Yet it isn't so heavy as to make it a pain to use.I'm sure I will be finding more uses for this after the flooring is done!

The heavy-duty steel flat shovel is a versatile and robust tool, ideal for tackling both snow and grass-related tasks with ease. Its solid steel construction ensures durability and strength, making it capable of handling tough jobs without bending or breaking, whether you're clearing snow from driveways or cutting through tough grass and soil in the yard. The flat blade design is particularly useful for scraping snow off flat surfaces or edging along sidewalks and flower beds with precision. Its weight gives it extra power for heavy-duty jobs, though this might require a bit more effort when used for extended periods. The handle is usually ergonomically designed for comfort and grip, ensuring stability and control even in challenging conditions. While it excels in strength and versatility, the steel blade requires some care to avoid rusting, especially after exposure to moisture or wet snow. Drying it off and storing it in a dry place will help maintain its longevity. Overall, this heavy-duty steel flat shovel is an excellent investment for anyone needing a reliable, multi-purpose tool for both winter snow removal and year-round yard work.

I ordered this after struggling to remove old dirt from the driveway with a shovel. After reading the description for this tool, I considered additional applications for it: edging and ice scraping. The shovel arrived neatly packed. Nothing was bent or broken or such. The package included a scraper, two sets of nuts/bolts to attach the scraper to the handle, three parts of the handle with two plastic connectors, and two handles (one of which is not in the item's description -- thank you for that). No instructions at all attached but assembly is almost self-explanatory. It would be useful to send images 2-4 from the Item Description.Myth #1 is that you can secure the blade to the lower pole with screws BY HAND (image two of the item description). You can’t. You have to use a hex driver. Otherwise, the blade will wiggle, which is an OK scenario for some applications and not OK for heavy-duty jobs like ice scraping.Another flaw in the design is that the handle can not be secured to the pole without additional drilling-and-running-to-the-local-hardware-store-for-more-screws drill. Every time you pull the handle -- whether it’s the handle from the description or the extra handle -- it separates from the pole, leaving you nothing short of frustrated. Also, you can’t store this tool by hanging it on a hook because of this pole/handle separation. My suggestion: holes should be drilled in the upper sections of two poles, and an extra handle BY MANUFACTURER, and at least one extra set of screws should be included in the package. The scraper was extremely useful for scraping dirt off the driveway. The width and strength of the blade are absolutely adequate for the job. The tool feels very sturdy ... unless you use the handle. Edging is coming for me soon, and I can’t foresee any problems with that. However, I think this shovel will be too light for ice scraping, but only time will tell. For the price, I would buy it again if a few simple fixes were made. As is, I would give it 3 stars.
