The product is very nice, the lid fits snuggly and the carrier is a good quality however, it is not as large as I thought it was. The entire glass dish will sit inside a regular 9 x 13 casserole dish and it’s very shallow, perhaps just over an inch deep. I am really not sure what family size casserole you could use it for. But for transporting some things, it will work out perfect, like an appetizer. But it’s not going to transport a large family hot casserole dish because it’s simply not large enough or deep enough to do the job.

Perfect casserole dish! I was asked to make my 5 layer dip for my niece's graduation, only problem I had to pick my mom up first (18 miles from me) then drive the other direction for my brothers (50 miles) I didn’t want my dip to get soggy and nasty & researched insulated bags and came across this one. It comes with its own dish & cover and it was perfect! Made the dip the night before and an hour before I left I put the bag in the fridge too. My dip travelled well and was nice and cold and fresh when I took it out. Got compliments on the bag too. So happy I found it!! Excellent value for the money!!!
