Your cart is empty. This Moyie Springs Mantel Clock by Howard Miller is a metal clock finished in antique black with decorative top ring that hangs from a 14.25 tall stand. It features aged and distressed black Roman numerals, black spade hands and flat glass crystal to stand out over the aged white dial. The quartz movement is battery operated and requires one AA sized battery (not included).

Seems to be well built until you have to remove the back fir batteries and setting time. Cheap material and poorly constructed back panel now being held together by tape.

Fast delivery. Only issue was that the face of the clock was off-kilter. After removing 4 pin springs which held the clockworks in place, I was able to adjust to the correct position.

Like everyone else, the clock arrived with the face one number off to the right. So, in other words, the number XI was where the XII should be. To fix it, open the back door of the clock. You’ll see 4 metal clips spaced evenly holding the guts of the click in place. Remove the 4 clips, rotate the face so it’s properly aligned. Re-insert the clips, and PRESTO you have a beautiful Howard Miller hanging mantle clock. I didn’t like how low the clock hung on its hook, so, I hung it on the top arm and placed a Willow Tree figurine on the base under the clock. I absolutely love the look. See photo. This is also the lowest price I’ve ever seen this clock at $52.

This one had to be returned! The clock face is crooked. If you don’t care if 12:00 is straight up, then it’s a nice looking clock, but this would drive my husband crazy!

The first thing about this clock is the description is wrong - it says "dual chime movement", when this clock has no chimes at all. For what it is, it is a nice looking clock that works well, but as many reviewers noted, the face was crooked (it's easy enough to fix, but still a disappointment). For a Howard Miller clock, I would have expected a little more, but for the price, it is a good clock and looks nice on the mantel (once the face was set straight). If it was advertised correctly, there might be a lot less returns on this clock (take the chimes out of the description and provide a note about the face that may need to be straightened by removing the side clips).
