Your cart is empty.1 QUART of INTERCOAT CLEAR C2CSG100; C2CSG100 Intercoat Clear is designed as a protective clear for artwork tape outs on SHIMRIN Basecoats; by preventing tape markings and protects metallic surfaces when artwork is planned. C2CSG100 Intercoat Clear may be used to blend SHIMRIN Pearl and Metallic Base Coats, and to mix Pearl and Kandy Koncentrates. This product is also a good choice to reduce SHIMRIN Basecoats for touchups and blends. Reduce 50 percent with RU Series reducer. No catalyst required. NOTE: Use only when top coating with urethane enamel. Must be top coated with UC1, UFC1, UFC19, UFC35 or UC35.

BLUF: Great product, went on smoothly with no runs and suspended Didspade Super Shift flakes realy well.First time I've tried shooting inter-clear (and I'm pretty new to spray guns altogether), and it worked amazingly well on an alder telecaster body with RU311 (I'm in New England & needed cooler weather reducer).Pros:- Decent instructions on their website- Mixed with Didspade color shift flakes easily- Cleanup with acetone went well- No runs, even spray, and crystal clear coatingCons:- Pouring from the quart can always makes a drippy mess. Would love a different container.

I shouldn't even have to write a review if you're already here. This intercoat clear is like magic. Read the instructions and YOU could spray the foundation of a perfect KUSTOM job. I've sprayed it out of a $7 gun and a $700 gun both with amazing results.

I use this for so many things, I couldn't possibly cover that here. The SG100 is good for adding pigments, Kandy Koncentrates, flake, etc. I have even added Lapis Lazuli to make the most vivid candy blue I have ever seen. This intercoat clear is always near the front of the mixing bench, it gets used constantly. Also, per HOK/Valspar, it is good for coating over delicate artwork to protect it before further work or clear. NOT a build clear though. Follow instructions and bulletins. It is a damn good workhorse.

HOK is the best. Do some work and it comes out great, stop there and cover it with this. Wait, follow directions, and sand. Continue with more work. If you mess up this will save your previous work and time. Great for building without any problems. Give it a final coat / sand and clear.
