I look for quality and life expectancy. I use honywell merv 8 as I do not have much dust or any pets. They easily last me 6 months so I only need to change them out twice a year. They are true to size.

It takes a while and some skills to put the filter in because it is a very tight fit. This three-pack offers very good value compared to buying individual filters at your local store.
