I love this stuff. It seems incredibly tough and holds up far better than many of the other strings. I’ve tried. Don’t get me wrong. It will cut if you hit a fence made a metal but it seems to hold up to all my other trimming needs far better than most of the others.

pull the string from the hole in the packaging, cut to 4 ties, keep the package intact - as in do not rip it open. Now that we have that established - wait for it . . . Soak the whole thing in a bucket of water for 24 hrs prior to use. google it.

I go through about 10ft of line on 2 small yards (mine and my neighbors). If you go full throttle, the line breaks as soon as it hits any hard object. If you go part throttle, it just tears the grass blades so you almost have to go full throttle for it to cut cleanly. It seems like I am constantly bump feeding the thing. By the end of the two yards, my 9.0AH battery is completely dead.In comparison, I swapped out the line for the Echo Black Diamond and it's a night and day difference. I can go part throttle and it cuts just as cleanly as going full throttle with the other line. I bump fed maybe twice doing the same two lawns and my battery still showed 3 bars when I was finished. Even using it with my commercial Echo 2620 gas trimmer (which has 2-3x the power of my battery trimmer), it holds up amazingly well against rocks and concrete at full throttle. This is my go to line for commercial work.Edit: Hipa customer service contacted regarding the issues with this line and they completely rectified the situation. I bumped up a star for their great customer service.
