used for a high wheel string trimmer, exact fit, starts first pull, complete kitcarb gaskets, air and fuel filter, and a new spark plug, not to mention reasonable price

Replaced Carburetor and it works sweet. Model sc100 cub cadet. However, air filter isn’t even close. Gaskets weren’t the same. Spark plug was not the same size. Ended up reusing the old gaskets and spark plug. Carburetor works so I’m happy with that

Purchased this to replace the carburetor on my cub cadet SC100 HW. The carburetor fit perfectly and the mower is running as it should. To echo the other reviews: the gaskets and the air filter don't fit (at least for the sc100). I'm uncertain about the sparkplug.

I was gifted an ST100 string mower that hadn't run for a few years. The gaskets were dried out and the carb was gummed up, so for this price, it made more sense to just order a new carb. Took a few minutes to swap them out and the mower runs perfectly.

I used this on my Cub Cadet SC 500 HW push mower. The mower started to sputter a lot and was inconsistent, so that pointed toward the carburetor. I figured it would be easier to just replace it rather than meticulously clean it and so I did, and it was.It fits and looks almost identical as the original carburetor. Simple enough install and there are some videos online if you need a tutorial. I will say that most of the stuff that was included in this kit did not fit my mower. The gaskets aren't exactly the right shape. The air filter is not the correct size. The spark plug is incorrect. I won't knock points off for these however because all I really needed was the carburetor and it got the job done. Good value in the end.

We 'won' a Cub Cadet ST100 Walk Behind String Trimmer in an auction recently. It was in pretty good condition but wouldn't start due to being left to sit for several years. My hubby squirted some started fluid into it and it wanted to start, so he suspected the carb was 'gunked up' (technical term). Finding this 951-14423 Carburetor For Cub Cadet kit here for less than $20. He really only needed the carb itself because the original carb's gasket was still in good condition, as was the spark plug, but the price for everything was too good to turn down, and he'll keep all the other items for future use.He drained out all the old gas, checked the oil, and swapped out the carb. Once everything was checked over he pulled the starting cord and Bingo! It fired right up and it works very well. So, we now have a fully functional Cub Cadet ST100 fence line trimmer for far less than half the brand new price. Score!If you need a new carb for yours, this kit works great.Just be aware - some people say the gaskets don't fit, so don't damage or throw away your old one just in case you need to reuse it. (Hubby didn't actually check the new ones in the kit to see if one of them would fit, but for a simple machine like this it's not hard to make one if necessary, or you can use a 'liquid gasket' product instead.
