I love happy mouth bits. Always have been a fan. Needed a D ring for my young warmblood so I picked this one up. I like the Mullen mouth because it bends nicely across the tongue and not creating any discomfort to the top of his mouth like a traditional snaffle nor as stiff as a traditional straight bar. My 3 yrd was going in a loose ring snaffle at first and his turning needed some help, so I decided the D ring was the best option to help with turning but still encourage more flexion in his neck than a full cheek would. Once I made the switch it was a huge difference. He loved the bit and was very comfortable and responsive. Somehow I ended up purchasing two without noticing it. When it came the second bit was an egg butt and not a D ring. However I do believe it said only one of this bit left In stock though. So just be weary about what your ordering. Will be returning the egg butt as I do not need it and it is similar to the D ring in my opinion.

Did arrive with some dirt on it oddly enough, but otherwise as described and works well with my young horse that had some bit issues

Should have looked at the picture better but description says "King Dee". The picture is the "Round D Racing Bit" and that is what I received. I actually wanted the King Dee. Otherwise, it arrived quickly and well packaged.
