Diffuser is no different than 7 inch diffusers. Has little to no stretch.

It fit well with the elastic bands and the material used is just enough to dampen the direct LED lights.

Overall, it works as expected. While I primarily work with much larger soft boxes there are occasions when I need something small and portable with a diffuser on it so this ended up working just fine.
