I use this 240 volt timer to power a 1000 watt HPS and it works perfectly. I was impressed at how accurate and reliable it was, worked every time it needed to come on and off. It was accurate within about 60 seconds every day, with over two months of continuous use.

I like the fact that this 240 v timer handles my needs. However, the build quality is lacking and not only does it look cheap and flimsy, it feels cheap and flimsy. But hey, it's only a timer and it does exactly what I need it to do. Currently I have two 620 Watt LED lights hooked up to the timer and there is no signs of over heating or other signs that worry me. As long as you just need a 220-240 Volt timer and will not be rough housing it, this should work fine for you too. A decent product for a value price.

I use this timer in my grow room running 1500w of full spectrum light and this timer handles it perfectly. I waited to get it because the only one available was 60 bucks but as soon as I saw one for 19.99 I jumped on it and couldnt be happier, I also use a 120v version in the same grow room and they are very accurate and work without fail. The 240v has 1500w running thru it 12 -16 hrs a day and it does not even get warm let alone hot, same for the 120v except it only runs 2 small fans and about 200w of supplemental side lighting. These are much more accurate and easy to set than older timers with tabs you insert on the dial. When it's critical that the lights be on and off at exactly the right time,this is the timer you want and need!

Worked as advertised! I used it on 220VAC window-type Air Conditioners in Manila, Philippines. Saved 50% on electricity costs by programming aircon on/off every 15 minutes. Awesome!
