This top can be worn with jeans or dressed up with satin trousers or skirt. I actually purchased it in purple and royal blue, but returned the blue only because it wasn’t a great color on me. The purple one was perfect! It is stretchy can be worn in or out, flattering, and of excellent quality. I’m going to look for another color and although the blue was gorgeous, it wasn’t right for me. Seller was amazing. Find the right color for yourself and it’s a definite win.

I ordered this shirt as the top to a pieced-together costume. I am an elementary teacher and for Halloween we all had a Barbie theme. I found this and thought it would be perfect for "Mermaid Barbie". I typically wear a size L-XL or 12-14 and it fit me great as far as comfort goes. It was "tight" but incredibly stretchy.The inside lining protects the majority of your skin from irritation from the sequins on the outside. The fabric is thick but breathable and I didn't lose any sequins or find myself sweating wearing it which is often the case with multi-layered shirts with "fashion over comfort" fabrics.My only issue with it was that it is quite short. I am only 5'1" and usually don't have this issue with clothing. I wore I high-waisted mermaid scale skirt and tucked it in, but had I not had something high waisted, I don't know that I would have felt comfortable wearing this to work. Also, because the torso length is cut so short, the arm-holes are also quite small. As a result, the underside of my upper arm (not armpits, but right below) got decently irritated from the rubbing of the sequins all day. Additionally, I feel that with as short as the torso was, the fabric length between the top breast fabric and the shoulder (essentially, what is made of mesh) didn't make sense. I had to continue to pull it up all day so that the top of my bra wasn't visible through the mesh. I'm not particularly large-chested (40C), so that could have been a factor. If I were, I'm sure the torso would have been even shorter and this likely would have fit more like a crop-top.I wouldn't hesitate to wear it again should I need to, but I don't foresee a situation in which I buy it for everyday work-wear. It is perfect for the purpose it served, but not ideal for the reasons above.

Lovely item, nice fabric and color (dark red) but very close to body. The larger size available (L) is a bit snug for me. But still looks nice.

Wore this to a football game to be in the school colors but upgraded my look. This did the trick. It was perfect. Lots of compliments. Will totally wear it for other functions. It looks great under a blazer also.
