Love this brand. I haven't gone wrong with products I've purchased from this company. I use the pants when mountain biking. Ordered according to the size chart and was happy with the fit. Good padding. Haven't had any tears or rips yet.

Honesty never ride downhill without these on . Yeah they can get a little uncomfortable after long hot days but the added protection is massive you wouldn't think they do much but honestly I've taken some hard falls into rock gardens and barely felt a thing wearing These. Little expensive but for safety you gotta pay a bit so we'll worth it in my eyes!

Very comfortable.Tons of padding.Have a nice rise so that they don't slide too much when you are leaning forward.I really wish these had a belt or a string you could use to tighten the waist.Smooth seams and comfortable fabric.I have large thighs, and these fit comfortably.Good value.Would buy again.Recommended.

I have some G-form elbow and knee pads already, so I'm familiar with the tech built into these short liners. The idea is to minimize padding bulk (to provide freedom of movement) while still delivering impact protection. The perforated flexible pads become rigid upon impact; and therefore absorb; or re-distribute the applied impact loads.I appreciate the smaller form factor, the freedom movement, and the amount of protection that they provide. If I'm riding a new trail, or anticipate that I may get into some more challenging terrain I plan ahead to wear these. Highly recommended.

One of the worst injuries I've had from biking was when I went over the bars and my hip landed on a large root. I wish I'd been wearing these when it happened because it likely would have done far less damage. The best thing I can say for these is that the first time I wore them I completely forgot I had them on. I wore them under a pair of baggy bike shorts that are pretty stretchy so I had no problem with fitting the pads under them. YMMV if you wear tighter or less stretchy clothes. The cuffs on these are nice and wide and have a sticky, probably silicone, lining that helps hold them in place. I never needed to adjust them through my entire 2+ hour ride. For me the pads are in just about the perfect spot. The center of the hip pads line up with the point of my hips and the tailbone protector sits over my tailbone, but not low enough to interfere with my bike seat. The lack of a chamois is not really a downside for me as I don't particularly like wearing them, especially not at lift-serviced downhill parks where I most often wear pads.Yes, they're on the expensive side, but I have multiple other GForm pads and have crashed in them at downhill parks and walked away largely unscathed. These things work, and they're much more comfortable than traditional hard pads. IMHO they're worth the money.

I know it says you can use it for multiple sports but the tailbone padding is placed a bit high. It works perfectly with padded bike shorts so the two sets of padding don't overlap. I have several G-force pads, from elbow to knee and they seem to work well. So I added these as well. I'm not going to say they aren't a bit spendy but they fit very well (I got the same size as my bike shorts) and are comfortable. They don't feel like you're wearing hockey padding.Doubling up both bike shorts and these could be a bit hot in the middle of summer but I have a set of padded bike underwear that's made of a mesh material to breath. They work very well under these. I can't wait for the warmer weather so I can try them out. These only have padding on each side of the hip and the upper part of the tailbone. It's G-forces own padding material. It's stiff but not as stiff as plastic. If you've never own one of their padding products it's worth looking at reviews before buying. Over all I'm very pleased with the addition of these when riding.

I'm a hardcore trail rider but like everyone, I enjoy some lift laps too. I don't generally wear elbow or knee pads, but if I'm going to be on a gnarly trail, or especially if doing a DH only day, I armor up. I did not have hip and tailbone padding like this before and I had one slam that bruised my right hip pretty bad so I'm stoked to have a little something there now.I have a few other g-form products and all have been great. I especially like how thin and flexible the padding is, but love that they use Newtonian fluid principle to harden on impact. It's really the best of both worlds without much compromise! The only thing I don't like about this padded short is the sizing and lack of chamois. I'm 6'3" and 180 lbs, so I'm pretty thin and I most certainly don't have thunder thighs! I wear a 31 or 32 depending on brand so per the size chart, I'm on the smaller range of being a medium and that's what I ordered. The shorts are very snug and the gripper bands on the thighs are on the verge of being too tight. I hope the whole short loosens up a little with a few wears, but out of the box, I'm right on the edge of wanting to return them for being too small. I would size up if I were you. Actually, now that I think about it a little more, I will return for a large - I don't want to cut off circulation to my legs while riding! And finally, it wasn't clear from the product description if these shorts had a chamois built in or not. They do NOT have a chamois, only the two hip pads and the one tailbone pad. I will be using them exclusively for lift laps where I'm not seated and pedaling all day. I suppose you could wear a chamois over or under these, but that sounds like too much going on down there for me! Chamois' already make you feel like you're wearing a diaper, so not trying to add to that bulk!
