I work as a Land Surveyor. Not the ones in shorts and tennis shoes, but the ones who walk several miles a day in the woods, cutting trees and climbing rocks. I go through a pair of boots every 5-6 months. I have had these for several weeks now with zero signs of wear. They took about 2 days to break in. The tread is excellent and pretty comfortable without an extra insole. Light weight. Good ankle support. Fit is pretty true to size. I wear a 10 running shoe and between 9.5-10 boots. These are 9.5. I have gone back to military boots with these, since work boots and hiking boots don't seem to hold up for me. I am giving these 5 stars right now, but may have to update in several months. So far, excellent boots. An additional kicker is that the laces have some sort of lock system on the middle loop. It holds the laces from loosening while you are tightening them and they hold throughout the day, so that my boot laces are just as tight at 4pm as they were at 7 am.

I ordered 9.5R and too small & narrow. I'm a 9R in SWAT and they fit like a glove. Just reordered the Bifida's in 10W and will report back.

I was in the army and the navy for a combined 13 years of active duty. And man do I wish we had boots like this available to us back then.I wear these for hiking, weighted rucking and 14 hour days of construction climbing ladders, in n out of trucks, and carrying heavy materials over varied terrain, including concrete.MY FEET DO NOT HURT AFTER WORK. And they are comfortable all day. Because the laces are so secure they sometimes need to be loosened up a bit after tying because I'm used to laces loosening so I run em down real tight.These boots ran true to size coming from timberland pro boondocks. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical about the price until they arrived. I’m still an active duty service member and have been through countless pairs of boots and I can confirm that these are legit especially for the price! Certainly won’t be my last pair.

Accurate sizing or true to size comfortable not too heavy but on wet surfaces they can be slick other than that nice boots
