These boots are well worth buying. I travel to Turkey on occasion and like exploring and photographing ancient ruins. There are lot’s of places there that are in the middle of nowhere, overgrown, without regular walking paths. The rocks there literally cut my brand new Merrell hiking boots to shreds in just a day. One cut went straight through and it was pure luck that it didn’t slice my foot. I’ve now taken these boots to Turkey twice and there is no issue that would keep me from taking them a third time. They are light, very durable, have good grip and don’t feel hot. I’m not sure how they do in water but I’m taking them to Canada next, so we’ll see.

I normally wear a size 9.5. These are not 9.5, way smaller. Most reviews say they run big. Returning for bigger size.

Look good, good price, but the level of comfort was less then expected. Couldn’t even wear them a full shift of 8 hours. If a 10 hour shift was scheduled, I was limping by the time I went home.
