...Is having the right gasket the first time for an aluminum upper intake manifold andit's always Fel Pro gaskets because they work great!

Anyone with the original multiport fuel injector (the spider) knows that you will need this. If you are struggling with your old vortec injectors follow the instructables Guide: "Poor-Mans-Repair-Guide-For-ChevyGMC-Vortec-Fuel-I"I was paying $300+ for each rebuilt unit, but it only took about 20 mins to go through that cleaning process and it worked perfectly. You'll want to replace this gasket when you do that, though. This gasket is the perfect fit.

Packaging was in one piece but looked like it was sitting on a shelf for years. Inside the gasket was in about 30 pieces. It looked old, and extremely brittle.

The gasket was great and I had a fuel pressure reg. on hand. I ended up having to replace the fuel lines that went thru intake at back. With top intake off you can turn the ign. switch to on. Do not crank. You will be able to see any fuel leaks. Keep this in mind if you have starting problems. I would buy again.
