I love my bench. I love sitting outside while I watch the dog. I would also suggest a cover for it. It keeps it dry when it rains then you do not have to wait till it dries to sit on it again.

You get what you pay for. Arm was cracked and it took ages to get here though I paid $30 for shipping. It eventually got here, and I was able to repair the arm— otherwise seems solid.

I was fooled by the ratings and other reviews. I was so excited to put this together as soon as the delivery man walked up I took it from his hands and started opening the box. The first problem became apparent when we tried to start putting it together. The holes are too deep for the locking mechanism to go into and the bolt to attach to it. This means that you spend a needlessly long amount of time trying to line up the locking mechanism with the receiving bolt. The second issue are the screws you use to adhere the underneath of the bench seat. They're too long, and literally start digging their way towards the seats surface. After it was put together we tried sittiing on it, and it felt incredibly flimsy. At first we thought maybe that we need to tighten everything up, so we did, but it only made it apparent at how shoddy and uneven the bench is. Not to mention how easily the bolts stripped out. I have doubts that this thing is going to last more than a year, if they even makes it that far. What a waste of money. I would like to return it but with so many stripped bolts I don't even know how we can get it back apart. Contacting the seller and will post if we get a resolution.

Very nice bench and straight forward to build. Took me about 15 min to put together and only required the help of my 9 year old son to hand me the hardware so I didn’t have to let go of the part I was holding. It feels sturdy but not 705lbs sturdy as it claims on the product page. There was one part that it could improve, which is when attaching the seat to the rest of the frame (last step), there are no pre-drilled holes so be very careful with those last 6 screws as the wood can easily split. I’ll recommend pre-drilling these holes if you have the tools. This was a minor item but worth letting people know. I will be buying another as we have a wide porch and we can put one on either side of the door and for the value of what you actually get, I find it a good deal.
