I would strongly reconsider your purchase of this bench. Looks very nice in pictures but the wood you'll receive will be scratched and damaged and parts will not fit properly. A professional will be required to assemble properly and some mods need to be made for it to all work. Even if you get it together, an average sized person will have a hard time using this bench. I tried working with the seller on solutions and they were somewhat difficult to deal with. I've reported this product to Amazon directly and hoping this can help. Probably not worth the risk of buying this bench, unfortunate as it has lots of potential to be a nice product.

Arrived looking used with chipped and damaged pieces. Cracked along legs. Would not last long outside or hold the weight it states.

These benches are a sturdy as they look on the site. They were easy to put together and feel substantial. We stained them to protect them long term but the natural wood looked great, too. They were easy to assemble.

Assembly took approximately 40 minutes to complete. You will need your own tools especially a powered screwdriver with the number of screws this requires. The defect can be seen in the 2nd picture. The 1st picture shows the correct milling, the 2nd picture shows that they curved the end on oposite sides so one outer edge has the sharp end. The outside edges of the benches also need to be sanded down to reduce the sharp edge and splinters. I don't detect the varnish at all so I'm going to finish this with some deck stain

Pleased with purchase. Good quality and sturdy. If using outdoors, recommend a marine spar varnish, it is a softer wood. Spar varnish will help with the elements and longevity as well as UV protection.

Easy to assemble. Solid, attractive, rustic. Can easily seat two large people. My only criticism is the two long cross member pieces do not fit squarely into the center pre-drilled holes due to seat curvature. These holes should be drilled at an angle to accommodate the curvature. Nonetheless, it was an easy fix with two additional small drill holes added and secured with provided wood screws. No problem. My wife thinks it’s really cute. I really like the bench and may buy another.

It looks nice, was fairly easy to put together (especially with basically no instructions, just pictures), and seems sturdy.
