Bought this to replace a porter cable that I have had for years. This one is even better, lighter and works great. Maybe even better than the one I had before. Would definitely recommend.

Works great. Easy to use, well balanced. The on off switch is a little stiff to shut off but not a huge issue

I bought this thinking it would be nice and keep the area clean while doing some rough sanding. I ordered extra sanding disks knowing it would come in handy. When the package arrived I took it to the garage and plugged it in and turned it on. I checked the variable speeds to make sure everything functioned correctly and left it run for about 5 minutes. The next day I got everything set up and started using it. I tried a couple of different technics trying to figure out the easiest way to use it. After about 5 minutes I turned it off to check the suction. When I tried turning it back on, it didn't work at all. I sent the company a return request hoping they would send another one to me in exchange. They were quick to respond and sent a shipping return label that I would have to pay for shipping. The shipping would have cost $80.82 for me to send it back. The company contacted me and requested a video of the sander showing what exactly it was doing. After I sent them the review they shipped a new one right away without any questions. Very pleased with the final outcome.

I’ve not entirely used all the functions of this, but the primary purchase was to sand off sponge effects a previous homeowner did. With a 120 grit disk, it is taking off the texture to a nice smooth wall. I thought if this didn’t work, I was going to have to skim coat.Next project will be the garage where they put a textured surface all over everything. It attracts dirt and spider webs and I was told an 80 grit knocks that down, but be sure to have the shop vac going.I went for the older, slower rpm model as the newer version had reports of scorch marks likely from the higher speed. I’m a novice that doesn’t want to create more work for myself.

So far so good. Good quality with a great motor. Holds RPMs even when clearing a Sand Texture Ceiling. This design is like the Porter with the Motor on the handle. I don't see how you can do a ceiling with the motor on the sander head.Overall very good, I just need 9" pads with 10 holes in 80 grit. Not easy to find.
