This sander is large, durable, and easy to use. It is heavier than I anticipated, but I was also using it on the ceiling and not just the walls. It comes with several different grits of sandpaper to get you started. The more you use it, the easier it is to use. It works really well and works much quicker than sanding with a mouse sander or hand sanding. It comes with a storage bag that holds all of the pieces. The dust bag was easy to empty. Great for a quick DIY project at this price.

Putting this sander together went ok but the instructions could be better. Once together, this is a great sanding aid. It has a large sanding pad and comes with 12 sanding sheets (hook and loop) in six grits (80 to 240) do you’re ready to at least start any job. It will take a little practice to use it most effectively but it is not hard to learn. The trick is learning how to hold the head flat on the surface while holding at any angle. The power head is on a pivot head that allows you to do this. It has a bright LED that is very helpful in darker environments. The vacuum works very well although it probably won’t get every bit of dust. If you do not hold the head flat against the wall, you will get some dust. Technique, technique, technique. How easy this is to use will depend on your age and physical condition. If you are a strong construction worker, it will probably go easy. If you’re and old retired guy like me, you’ll probably need to take breaks on larger jobs.

It took me quite a while to figure out how to hook this up and get it going but once I did it is a great tool. Make sanding and finishing drywall so much faster and easier. Works amazing and well worth the price

Drywall is easy up to the point where the spackling and sanding is needed. This work sometimes is messy and can be easily messed up. This sander is medium weight, does make the job a bit easier. Sanding discs and parts are included. Recommended for ease of use.

I was hesitant to order this because I didn’t know if it was a tool worth investing in. However, I’m very glad I did. If you have popcorn ceilings, this is worth it alone. If you are going to be doing any drywalling, it’s a great timesaver and prevents a lot of cleanup. It’s not super light but it’s light enough to not make the job difficult. A great buy for the money!

I had some water leakage behind the wall in our master bathroom and it damaged some of the drywall on the wall on the other side of the shower. As a result, I needed to replace some drywall as some mildew was starting to grow and I wanted to catch it early in the process before it got too far along. One the things I dislike the most with drywall work is the sanding and the huge mess it makes. No matter how much you tape things down and around the area, there is always dust everywhere. So I thought I would pick up this lightweight drywall sander from Bjossty as it was electric (plug-in) and would be easy to use to clean up the drywall and get it sanded smoothly while still cutting down on dust. It does an excellent job of capturing a great amount of dust and as long as you keep the vacuum bag emptied when it starts getting full, it works great! I like the adjustable suction control knob that allows me to vary the amount of vacuum that I need to collect all the dust coming off the wall. The flexible head also makes it easy to get the right angle when finishing the wall and the detachable chassis allows for tight spaces near corners and trim, perfect! Overall, it's a great lightweight sander that's perfect for home use to knock out one of the most difficult parts of drywalling and keeping dust down to the bare minimum, 5 Stars!

Kind of heavy, need to buy a shop vac to connect for dust, the bag is kind if useless

I have never owned a sander like this before. I’ve seen the small sanders with a collection bag, but since I had so much to do, I liked the idea of the larger capacity collector and pad.The instructions weren’t overly clear. I think they could certainly be written better. I wasn’t sure which pieces went where at first because it’s in sections versus showing you the whole thing. The most difficult piece to figure out for me were the connection joints and the collection bag. Of course, once you do figure it out, it all makes sense. However, clearer instructions would be helpful for a newbie like myself. This is a hefty machine. It is heavy and it’s not necessarily easy to use. I’m short so I think that’s part of it as well. I think someone a little stronger and taller, probably won’t have the issues I have had. It’s been trial and error. I’ve had to figure out how to hold the sander and what’s comfortable for longer periods of time. That being said, the machine works extremely fast. It is on a joint and that helps with control and movement. If I was hand sanding it would take so much longer and my body would definitely be feeling it. I think the best thing to do is practice with it and hold the machine before you even turn it on just to get an idea before starting. The pad for sanding is large. It does make a large area easier to tackle. But I have tried it on smaller spots too and it works great. Again it’s just technique and a little bit of practice in my case.Dust collection is awesome! Again, some practice. The first couple of times I used it, I had some dust kicking back. The key is to make sure to keep it on the surface and not lift off so that any dust releases too quickly. The only other time I noticed dust is when I’m done and set it down on the ground. I can see a ring of the dried caulking dust. Otherwise, I have been extremely pleased.Small areas or big areas, honestly, I feel like this thing is worth it. I cannot stand all the dust that sanding makes and I feel like it has to be terrible for your health to breathe in. This really does cut down on it to the point where it’s almost nonexistent. If you keep a little vacuum nearby, you can get anything extra. The machine works quickly and efficiently. It’s not overly quiet but it’s not jarring either. It is a machine and it is pretty big so you do hear something. With some practice on technique preference, it’s easy to use. It’s worth it to have as a homeowner.
