Device works great. Good warranty.Newer Jasco aka GE Embrighten aka UltraPro (all the same, Ultrapro is simple packaging and cheaper priced but same hardware) in white do not match the older ones. The New models have bluer paddles, don't match old ones. Older ones matched faceplate from Leviton at Home Depot. See picture. New one on the right.If you have old, dead devices, you can salvage their paddles to make them match. But note the pull plug under the paddle of dimmers and switches is longer in the new model, so you'll have to use that bluer pull pin with your older, color matched paddle.

I have installed many of these and reliability is an issue. They become unresponsive and useless. Sometimes they work for long periods and then suddenly fail to respond. Replacement is the only solution.

I went overboard when I finally got the resources available to get my own house. I decided every switch, no matter how mundane, should have some sort of automation attached to it. And so, after really enjoying another brand of Z-Wave switches - they could not actually get me the stupid amount of switches I needed.I looked elsewhere, and Amazon had these available in the quantity I needed in a short time. And that's all I had. We were moving in, and I only had a limited time to be able to swap out the house full of switches. Pulled the trigger, and the next day a giant box full of z-wave switches arrived.Installation was straightforward - do the thing if you know what you're doing and get the switch installed. If you don't (or can't because of regulation/other reason) call someone. It's an easy job. Pairing with my home automation system was straightforward and after a hard days work the switches were cycled in.These have now been running in full operation for well over 3 years. They create a wonderful z-wave mesh in my home as they are distributed throughout the house. Only one has gone bad, and it's only bad in the sense that I can't get the z-wave controller to disassociate cleanly or do a hard reset. The switch itself still functions as a switch.Solid product, works as advertised. There are other cooler switches - for sure. I tried several of them. But, at the end of the day I needed something that still walks/talks/acts like a real house with automation as a bonus. These do the needful.NOTE: The switches themselves do throw off guests sometimes because they are not true toggle switches, but rocker switches. They'll get used to it fast enough, but if you're using this for automation consider some actual automation in commonly used areas (like a guest bathroom, hallway, or other areas)

Been using these for yrs with alarm system.Will co time to use and replace as they fail from time to time.The newer version ones are more resilient in the higher temps than original versions.
