A Shop wanted 550.00 for parts and 200.00 labor to replace my clutch. It is easy to do in less than 30 minutes and even if it only lasts a few years I’ve saved money big time.

So I replaced my Pto because the first one would not stay engaged. I put the new one in would you know it same darn thing. I went and spun the blades and I had one that was hung up. I found that when it was serviced they did not grease the bearings. I had replaced a few and greased the rest of the bearings on the deck. Before you purchase look to see if your deck blades spin freely. Just my mistake so don't make the same

I used this clutch on a John Deere STX 38. Deere shows two different clutches for this model, and they superceded to a single part number. That number doesn't work on this model, but the Warner replacement did. Thank you!
