We were looking for a smaller wine cooler for under the counter in our bar. This is just perfect. It keeps the whites at a cooler temperature than the reds. It has a cool blue light for the temperature which can be shut off but we think it gives a nice effect and ambiance. The stainless steel gives it a modern and sleek look. It came very quickly and in mint condition. I would highly recommend it! For all you wine lovers, this is what you need!!

So this is my second 38 bottle Edgestar Dual Zone Wine Cooler. My first one just died after 6 years of rather dependable use. I was hesitant to order another basically same one but I did truly like the older model. They fit the most amount of bottles and do a great job of maintaining two temp zones for my red and whites, beers, etc... And it looks great in my family room. This newer model is just slightly different, definitely quieter which is a plus, not that the old one was that loud but it was noticeable. The controls are now inside vs on the outside upper door. Cant say that is a major plus or minus, other than now you have to open the door to make a change, but how often do you need to change temps? One major change is now either upper or lower can be temp controlled for the full range, meaning you can make either area your white or red wine storage area. The air fans are moved from that central panel to the rear walls and I dont hear them coming on and off anymore. Longevity in the end will be the ultimate decider but fingers crossed this one lasts 10+ years! A great wine cooler for the money.

Have used for about 50 days and unit runs nearly constantly and top is frequently extremely warm. Support stated fan should always runs but sound is not a fan but rather, I believe, the compressor. Condensation has occurred on front glass. While the unit is attractive and solidly built the functional operation of this unit is defective and so far there has been no helpful support from Edgestar. Very disappointed in what I thought would be a premium purchase.

I did quite a bit of comparison shopping before selecting the Edgestar. It was a bit pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for and we did!. It is very solid, very good looking, extremely quiet, seems to hold the temperature well, and holds the quantity of bottles stated. We have only had it in operation for 3 days, but rest assured if it doesn't perform there will be a follow-up review.

Finally... a wine fridge that is exactly as it should be. I’ve purchased one other and returned it. This one is exactly what I wanted. It fits the number of bottles it advertises and the shelves are perfectly spaced apart. They are close together but not so close that the labels get scratched by the shelf above. I was able to fit six bottles on each shelf. It’s a tight fit but if you push the three bottles with the neck faced forward all the way to the back and then alternate three more going the opposite direction and pull the butts of the bottles all the way to the front, 6 bottles will fit on each shelf. Even the fat Chardonnay bottles. I’m not sure how well it holds the temp, but in the first 20 minutes I can tell it is well made. Setup was also easy. I’m very happy with this wine fridge.

Received my EdgeStar Model 380DZ 05/28/19; I give it enough time for it to settled in. I changed the temp setting from 60 to currently 55 degrees, yet the fan/compressor turns on frequently and it's quite loud. I think it's louder that our fridge in our kitchen if you can believe that. The ambient temp is around 67 degrees, I'm not sure if others are experiencing the same thing or not. I would not recommend this product because of it's operations at this point. I will contact support for further assistance.UPDATE: Opened up a case with EdgeStar ; the temp displayed is set to 55 degrees and would changed to "LO" on it own and the wines would be freezing!! Hope to have a response from EdgeStar soon.UPDATE: 3/20/2020 - EdgeStar support was great! Quick response and; a replacement power board was sent and I'm back up running.

Product came in a very sturdy double box - was in perfect condition upon arrival. Easy to set up and install. Temperature control works very well; whites are cold and reds are just on the chilled side. Temperature and light controls are easily accessible and work well, One small complaint, the temperature read out would be perfect if it had a dimmer control. The LEDs are bright, and at night light up our dining room. Othere than that we love it so far.

It's not a problem because we keep it in the pantry, but it can be distracting in a dining room.The unit makes a mild chugging sound when the compressor shuts off. I don't think this is a flaw, but rather a normal operational sound. It is not any more disturbing than a regular refrigerator, but I think about the potential to affect wines over a long time.Overall:I'm happy with the value of the unit and the capacity. It does keep whites colder than my old thermoelectric Wine Enthusiast which lasted about 6 years, but was quieter. I would purchase again at this point.
