We bought this to replace the one we had that stopped working. This is beautifully designed, and the interior blue lighting comes on when the door is opened. You can also leave the light on all of the time for that soft ambiance. What I like best is that it is well built, durable, and it can be used built into a cabinet. Some other wine coolers have to be free standing, and we don't the have counter space for that. So this was perfect. The one thing I don't like is that this cooler was advertised as being able to hold 21 bottles of wine. It only holds 18, as the bottom shelf can only accomodate 3 bottles in a pyramid stack. I can live with that. All in all, a great value. I recommend this product, great value, and I would buy again.

My original wine cooler died and I bought this as a replacement. Fits perfectly into my cabinet knee hole. The only negative comment is that it does not keep a consistent temperature of 41 degrees...it varies from 41 to 45 degrees. Other than that, it works.

Good so far and will update down the road. Height including ‘hinge’ is 24” which wasn’t super clear but company responded quickly to that question. Did not respond to second question asking average amp draw. Fridge holds 18 bottles not 21 as indicated. Three shelves hold 5 bottles each and bottom only 3 bottles. The manual even indicates 18 bottles. Minus one star for incorrect/insufficient info.

All the reviews about this machine being silent couldn't be more from the truth. I have to sit in complete silence and really close the cooler just to hear the fan. Fits most wine bottles and keeps the temperature consistent! It looks great too!

This is my 4th small (6-bottle) wine refrigerator. The refrigerator sits on an open wire shelving unit in a part of my kitchen with no heat source -- and is not in the path of windows or skylights that would limit it's ability to maintain set temperature. I keep white and rose wines in it so always have it set to lowest temp.The first fridge was good, lasted several years, eventually died. Second one lasted slightly less time, and struggled to hold the coldest temp (46) unless it was wintertime and quite cool in the house. To replace it earlier this spring I ordered the Magic Chef 6-bottle fridge (it was out of stock on Amazon so I ordered it from a big box home improvement store.) Plugged in, set to the lowest temp and gave it the requisite 6 or 8 hours to come to desired temp. It never did. I sent it back. Pain in the butt.Next: The name of this one alone ("Costway") made me hesitate but I decided to give it a try since I didn't want to pay $100+ for what seems to be planned obsolescence. This one looks very nice, with a dark mirror-like door, digital temp readout, and interior light. I'd say it's "whisper-quiet" but it doesn't even whisper! I set it up, set temp to 46 degrees, left it alone to come to temp, which it did very quickly, in an hour or so. I loaded it up with 6 bottles of wine and within a couple hours they were colder than any other fridge had kept my wine before. We don't have AC so as the weather warmed I kept my eye on the temp readout and the actual bottle temps, expecting the usual struggle to maintain 46 degrees as the ambient temps rose. So far this thing is rock steady. We had our first really hot, humid days last week. My Kitchenaid refrigerator was sweating enough that I had to hit the "humidity control" button. The Costway wine fridge rose 2 degrees for a few hours, showed a little condensation on the door front, but dropped back down to 46 that evening (previous models would quickly rise into the 50s until ambient temp dropped significantly, often staying too warm for days at a time). Has never wavered from the set temp otherwise. On an average 80 degree day, the Costway stays steady at 46 and I don't have to finish cooling a bottle of white or rose wine in the Kitchenaid. I've had it for only a couple months but based on current performance I highly recommend it.

perfect for storing a few bottles of wine for when company is over. It is a nice looking unit and I like the temp display and easy to use controls. It does have an audible hum, it's not disturbing to me, but it's noticeable and for some it might be annoying. But really it's in my kitchen and it doesn't bother me at all. But I thought I would mention it. I won't take a star off for the small amount of noise it puts out. For just over $100 it's really a very nice product.
