I must say I didn't get this for a garage door. I have a carport that I needed to put sides on so as to close in for the winter months. This worked out great and it is very durable and thick. It kept the wind and cold out. Now installing was a little hard but only because I used it for something other than what it was made for. I am pleased with the quality and being able to close in my carport for gatherings outside during the cold months.

The material is high-quality nylon with filling, not cotton as claimed. The stitching is good, and the panel details are tidy, connecting to the Velcro. Installing 20 feet of Velcro in a straight line can be tricky; it attaches easily, but if not secured properly, it may come off when removing panels. The pictures show sewn-in magnets, and they include plastic tacks that might not fit your facing.

Velcro doesn't really stick and the magnets aren't strong enough, they don't even connect properly

I bought this for my garage. The door needs to be replaced and is stuck in the open position currently. We were expecting unusually cold temperatures for our area and I was worried about the outdoor feral cats that I let use my garage for shelter. I got this just in time. Overnight temperatures were in the upper 20's but my garage stayed in the 40's with just this curtain and a chicken brooder lamp. Not exactly warm and tropical, but above freezing and safe for the kitties. I'm sure it also helps to keep my house warmer on the end that connects to the garage as well. I'll be leaving this up definitely until I get the door replaced, maybe even after.

We have others like these for indoors and are great. For the garage it just is awful. Correct size but magnets don't want to stay pulled closed in the middle like it's not enough give. The wind just blows it all over so the magnets are flapping and slamming the garage door constantly scratching it and loud. Entire thing was destroyed within 48hrs from the wind. Not once did we open the garage door. The point was to help the wind draft from coming in. It did not handle the wind.

My garage has two ancient doors that let in the ice cold Utah mountain air. I hope to replace them but in the mean time I've use tarps on the inside - not good. This two car garage door cover (not a screen) is just the thing. The fabric is a good quality nylon with filling. The ad says oxford cotton but the fabric isn't cotton. Maybe it's cotton fill? That said, it's nicely sewn and is generously sewn. The detail and lines are good all over the panels. They attach to the included Velcro which can be tacked to your facing. It sounds easy but putting up 20 or so feet on Velcro in a string line was a challenge. It will go on easy enough but if you don't secure it well, you'll pull the Velcro off when you take the panels down. In the pictures you can see the magnets that are sewn in. They include plastic tacks that may or may not work with your facing. When I do get the doors replaced I plan to use this in the winter too.

I accidently ordered the wrong size. This Eapele Garage Door Screen is for a two-car garage and mine is a one car garage/barn. I bought property and it has what appears to be a garage, in that it has a garage door, but the sides of the building are large boards hung horizontally. So, I think at one time it was a small barn type of building. Due to the spaces, the building is drafty and wet when it rains. So, all is not lost, I will be installing this magnetic thermal garage door screen along the wall/side of the garage that has spaces between the boards. We have had a lot of very cold weather and snow over the last several days, so I haven't been able to install it yet. Though, I have installed a few thermal curtains in my house. This Eapele Garage Door Screen, Thermal Curtain is a great quality thermal screen/curtain. Due to the Velcro seal along the top and sides, these thermal curtains do completely block drafts. The magnetic closure is awesome and holds the curtain closed securely. This is a large curtain of course, and I anticipated that I would need extra tacks for the Velcro tape side of the seal, so I bought more. In my experience it is best to put tacks roughly every six inches and I know I will need extra reinforcement when I am attaching mine to older vintage or antique rather rough wood. So, you might want to have extra tacks on hand when you are ready to install the curtain.I poured water on the surface of the Eaplele Thermal Garage Door Screen to test its ability to be waterproof. The water rolled right off the top of the fabric and did not soak in at all. This Garage Door Screen has great quality waterproof fabric.I know the installation will be challenging because this garage door screen is large and I am a small female. I have installed a thermal curtain on a large, wide doorway in my house on a ladder and I found it important to roll the tape out slowly a few inches at a time, so the tape didn't get ahead of me and stick to things. I will definitely do the same when I install this garage door screen to make it more manageable especially due to its large size.I highly recommend this Eapele Thermal Magnetic Garage Door Screen to solve a problem with drafts and/or wet weather around your garage door, or even along a wall as I am doing if the garage wall is not insulated or has drafts.
